I just discovered that the Twitter account of Avatar-Forums is down and the website too. Is it the final end to the website or is a surprise hidden?
If it died, it's time for a solemn remembrance of this website, along with the couple of groupies, freaks and the people who were too deep in their reasoning.

Err, is LN now the only corner of the Avatar fan community to have withstood the test of time?
Pasha, an Avatar story, my most recent fanfic, Avatar related, now complete.

Well, it appears that the owner either try a different software or gave up hosting and maintaining it. Since the new website haven't received any database import from the previous forum and there were very few real posts, the owner possibly stopped that "experiment".
However, I have zero idea about their intentions but, in my opinion, the recent way of managing Avatar forums were not really the "elegant" way. A certain number of former members aren't amused by that, which I can imagine since the owner apparently dropped the important communication with the Avatar-forums community. There aren't official plans nor any kind of information, everything is unknown.

I fear that this will cut the bridge with most of the inactive Avatar Community members. If the closing is permanent, they'lll come back to nothing and they'll think it's over.

Some will, some will find a new home.

With the sequels some way off, I guess we are uniquely privileged among the Avatar Fandom, we have a regular supply of new canon material to enjoy.  :D :D

Agreed. We don't get things that overrated fandoms get, for example, they get bad reviews, too much attention, fake spoilers, and satirical news. We on the other hand, are not overrated, not hogging the media spotlight, and we get legit news and release dated.
Avatar, Furry, Amateur Astronomy, IT, PC gaming, Minecraft, Fortnite, music.
My life summarized.
