The subject sort of translates into:"Today is Prrton's day. Join me in saying: Happy Birthday Prrton!"

I didn't know where to post this, but since I attached my version of happy birthday in Na'vi, well it's audio, right?
Don't laugh at my singing though, just join me in wishing Prrton a happy birthday!

Ngayätrr Lefpom ma Prrton! or 'awzìsitni'ultrr Lefpom (However, I couldn't sing happy birthday with that word! so I chose ngayätrr)
Ngaru livu fpom ma tsmukan!

Post your birthday wishes as a reply to this thread!

I'm sure they will start singing this at party's very soon. At least in my world.

I understand this to be something like:
Your-day be-well Prrton.
You ?? wellbeing my brother.

With risk of coming off like a skxawng, what is livu? Couldn't find a translation.

There are some attested phrases with similar constructions
Ngayätrr lefpom
actually means Ngayätrr lefpom ngaru livu
the verb is dropped in the same way that it's  is dropped in
Eywa ngahu (livu) may Eywa be with you
or in
Oeru txoa (livu) may forgiveness be for me (or may I have forgiveness)
or in the "Happy holidays" phrase:
ayftozä lefpom ayngaru nìwotx (livu is ommited)
trans: "May the holidays be completely happy for you all"

so Ngayätrr lefpom ngaru livu
your day  well being(adj) for you may be
or May you have a happy birthday (if you consider that having well being = happiness and that your day=birthday)

so for short Ngayätrr lefpom would be Happy Birthday

iv according to the consensus is a subjunctive marker translated in that sentence as livu= may be

Eywa ngahu

Oh, that makes sense :)

This occurs in Swedish aswell. Many people use the wrong pronouns because they are unaware of the fact that some words have been dropped.
