The purpose of this thread is to get something off your chest, or blow off some steam. It could be something that just happened, or it could be some long-running pet peeve.

It is not, however, a platform to heap abuse on individuals here, or to attack people because of political or ideological beliefs. It is not for abuse or attack. It is simply to state a gripe and move on.

I'll lead with my example, because it is something that has been annoying me for the past couple weeks due to situations at work:

I really, really hate it when some boss or supervisor sees something wrong, and rather than think about it, ask about it, do any follow-up, or investigate it, they just immediately jump at you with angry questions and accusations. Then, later, if they find I had nothing to do with the situation, or actually worked hard to improve the situation but had limited time, training, or access to deal with it, do I get an apology? Nooooo.... just a grunt and a shrug and act like nothing happened.

Grrr, I say, Grrr!

Let it out, my people!
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Well, I really really hate my chemistry teacher. She took six lessons to explain that Pb and Mg will never attract eachother to an ignoramus. Test was qutie easy, though I could've got an A+ instead of C- when she just left that moron and helped the rest. The idiot got a F-. He spelled his name wrong. Thanks.

What really pisses me off is reading people's reviews of how bad Avatar was. Every bad review I read there were huge over generalizations, misinterpreted facts, the OMG ORIGINALITY complaint which can be used with any movie, and last but not least the RACIST complaint. Look at any movie and you can find something that an idiot can interpret as racist.

Every bad review was exactly that, a bad review in both senses of the word.

Another thing that was kind of annoying, if anyone saw the Colbert Report from yesterday he said Avatar was destroying the country, I know he wasn't being completely serious but still annoying.

I get frustrated when people don't use ì or ä and just use i and a instead.  I also get frustrated when new people don't even make an attempt to find something on their own.  I have absolutely no problem trying to teach new people stuff, but posts like "help I need to the learn the language right now, teach me" get really annoying...

I, for one, am frustrated at school, homework, and the 24-hour day because now I barely have time to get on the forums, and the people who I once gave (not always accurate) advice to are exceeding me in posts and it's hard to keep up with everything.

A minor rant, yes. But a rant nonetheless.

Here's to not knowing exactly what you're saying and having fun with it.

I am pissed off at work because, I work with a bunch of jerks who do nothing to help and then complain when I don't get it done on time while they were standing and talking to eachother all day.

(Sorry for not using the dots and accents on my letters. Don't know how.)

You know what really grinds my gears?

People who don't know how to follow a set of rules and ask dumbass questions because they can't be bothered to read a little bit of text that explains what I want them to do.

For example, I ask politely, clearly, and directly that I want CHARACTER PROFILES SENT DIRECTLY TO ME FOR MY APPROVAL.

Instead, people just post them or clutter the thread asking 'Is there room to join, can I haz plot line, I iz the greatest RPerr evarrr!!1!111!1!'

And that pisses me off. It ignorants who don't follow the rules that really grind my gears!

I feel better now, but for those of you who RP with me or any of the several great other RP'ers on Learn Na'vi, please, remeber:

Oh my god. Worst day at work ever.

I work at a movie theater, so please take notes of my complaints! If they apply to you, I'm sorry, but there is not quicker way to piss the workers off.

Normally there is at least one person who freaks out a day, but my god, it seemed to be never ending!

Ahhh.

So I worked in the box office where we sell tickets. It all started where our IMAX projector malfunctioned, causing the sound for Avatar to run, but no picture.

It took forty minutes to fix. Some people wanted refunds. Do they go to our guest service station and politely wait in line? No, they come to yell at me, even though I have a massive line and I'm calmly explaining that that is not my job and they have to go back to the theater (Which is only one floor up. Why do people complain about going up one flight of steps. OMG It takes twenty more seconds out of my life!!!11one!)

Then people complain about the next showing for IMAX being sold out, a half hour before it plays! Of course it sells out, we are one of TWO theaters showing it in IMAX out of all of Washington state!

Then some guy tries to convince me that he bought tickets to the IMAX showing over our phone line but accidentally only got the regular 3D, but the person said he would be able to go to IMAX anyway. He showed up twenty minutes before the showing with no physical proof that he was allowed to go to IMAX and our policy clearly states that the person over the phone should have voided his tickets and got him the proper showing. So I told him to walk up to guest service so they could call down a manager, just in case they had some proof. He spent ten minutes (once again while I have a massive line) yelling at me before I was able to convince him that there was nothing I could do.

Then one of my coworker's microphone broke and wasn't able to fix it, so we're down one box worker. Fantastic.

Than some b**** mom comes up with her two kids and asks for two tickets for an R rated movie. I explained that it was company policies that children under the age of 17 had the have someone 21 or older with them in the theater. It's not a rule I really agree with, but hey, it's not like I make the rules.

So she flips out on me and yells for like five minutes. Full out yelling in a public mall, that it was the dumbest rule she ever heard. Then after yelling at me she tried to get me to bend the rules!

Note to all! If you EVER want someone to bend the rules for you DON'T YELL AT THEM! Is that a hard concept? Be nice and maybe we will be a bit lenient, be a b**** and we won't budge.

After throwing a hissy fit at me she walks upstairs, insists we call down a manager and say that I was overly rude at her. She then told them that her kids WERE 17 and that I never asked if they were! Even though I clearly told her our rules. Thankfully I had people to vouch for me and my managers love me so they explained that I was just doing my job and did nothing wrong. She then tried to convince them to call the head manager down, who wasn't working that day!

Apparently a lot more crap went on as well and when I got off my shift, everyone seemed to have a higher count of horror stories than normal today.

What is wrong with people?  >:(

I know what you mean. At least you get to sit down. At Walmart. We get to be yelled at and berated for stuff we can't change and wasn't our fault in the first place and we can't even sit down for fear that the managers will think we are slacking and fire us for no good reason. On top of the customers, the managers love to hate us because apparently, being a manager at Walmart entitles you to something. I'm smarter than half the managers who are twice my age. You can tell which ones when you say okay to something they just said and then they repeat just in case you didn't get it the first time. When a customer yells, there is nowhere to run to because the managers always side with the customers. If it was legal, they would have us lowly employees knife ourselves in the gut and pull out our entrails to appease the angry customer who doesn't have an ID for alcohol and Cigarettes and looks 13. I'm just so happy that when I moved to the back, all I had to deal with were the managers. You can usually maneuver around them while not being double teemed by a set of whiny shoppers and a crying baby left alone in the cart and everyone standing in your way when you are pulling something heavy and they glare at you because you interrupted their conversation about their day painting their nails.

Ugh, Walmart, I bet that would suck.

But we don't get to sit down at my job. That's right, I have to stand in box. Why? We don't know, even our head manager hates it, but corporate seems to believe that us leaning against the till looks more professional than sitting in a stool.

ow. I think you got the short end of the stick there.

Heres something for ya.
So, I went to the movies today, and less than halfway through the film screws up. After a few minutes of complained-full darkness, most of the people in the theatre left. Suddenly, a guy pulls out a flashlight and performs the entirety of what we just saw in shadow puppets. I'm glad I stayed. MLIA.

Pretty much...

But at least I get free movies! I've seen Avatar five times in IMAX so it makes up for all the crap a bit.

People just seem to be extra rude when they got to the movies. I don't understand why! It's supposed to be a happy time!

Avatar and shadow puppets are the only things that make life worth going to walmart.

I work for an Elementary school during the day. The district, in all honesty, will bend over for any parent that complains about anything, for any reason. I'm a security guard, and well, crap rolls downhill. I got yelled at because I brought two kids who were fighting to the office to have a chat with the principal. Why? Because I'm too mean and harsh, and apparently holding kids responsible for their own actions and making them follow the rules doesn't provide a loving and caring environment. Apparently the kids who get in trouble like to go home and complain to their parents that I'm mean. The parents in turn yell at my boss, who in turn yells at me for enforcing the rules. The security guard who is brand and would write reward slips to kids for "playing nicely" and "wearing a cute outfit" got a promotion over me. Its my second year there.
