I've spent this entire past week hearing about this "Rebecca Black" person (which was generally followed by negative comments) and had no idea who she was. For some reason, I then searched her on Youtube. This (in my opinion) has to be the lamest song I have ever heard in my life. In fact, I will go as far as saying that Justin Bieber would be music to my ears (if I had to choose between the two).

The secret behind it all is that the song wasn't produced because someone thought she was a good singer. It was because she had the money to buy a production. But since it has become so popular, they have actually earned money from it. (I read a news article about this last week)
