Here in England we have no need of temporary historical faires, if we want a taste of history we just pop along to our nearest castle, available in all good towns. :P

Hahaha, that's a very fair(e) description.

The one thing I miss about Germany and Europe is the history. We used to live in house that was basically built on top of a blacksmith. When we moved over here, our neighbors told us that we also lived in a very old house: it was build in the 80s!

Txur’Itan

I lived in a house built in the 1890's, it was remodeled by the next owners in the 1990's...

Now its block is surrounded by gang-bangers. =(

My last Ren Faire I did not dress up, next time I might though.
