In case there are any SecondLife users here, I've created a SL "Na'vi Language" group.  It doesn't show up in the inworld search yet, so post or IM me your SL name, and I can send an invite.

Perhaps I should put on my headset and give lessons in ejective consonants... :)

Payoang

And to everyone around you in RL, it will appear like you're spitting into your microphone. What a strange concept ejectives are; now I feel the pain of all who try to learn German :)

Sarkath

Dude, if you seriously will give voice lessons over SL or heck, even Skype, count me in. I would have to try to remember my SL account however...>_>

Chuan

Hi, sounds good, lessons in Na'Vi, but could it be done over something like skype, windows live or something that has support for web cams as mouth movements are useful, but yeh I defiantly need to hear something to say it properly!

Thanks, Chuan

Or even a basic voip like mumble could be the beginning. :)

Yeh just somewhere where a few people can chat, hear pronunciations and have a laugh :)

Brainiac

Mumble is a great idea!  Less hassle than TeamSpeak or Ventrilo since it auto equalizes.

wm.annis

Yay!  The group finally shows up in the in-world search.

I think I might be able to get people Na'vi avatars within Secondlife.

There are already lots of Na'vi avs in SecondLife.  Unfortunately, all the ones I've seen so far (as of a few days ago) are mind-bogglingly terrible — just elves painted blue.

Re-rezzed my treehouse four times. (see gallery).  Have ambient nature sounds and a few landscaping items.   Vines & climbing ropes are fun, like in the game.

I'm enjoying it (when not taking back tree limbs floating in air).  I'd like to do a floating mountain skybox..

I'm surprised this topic is in spam.

Learning (as with anything) is slow going.

Thank you!

O.C. shapeshifter is socially clueless.  Now that explains a lot.

I love solar panels, Zero Energy houses, vegetative roofs, permeable paving & rainwater harvesting, but that still isn't green enough for me.
