A little conversation I had with the customer support of a large IT company today:

Me: "Hey guys, here's your friendly customer reporting a BIOS bug!"
Support: "Dude, your system isn't under warranty anymore. This will cost you min. 230€/hour, min service time 1 hour."
Me: "Err... I just found a bug, I don't want support. I know why my machine is failing. And by the way, you've released the latest BIOS in Nov 2010, 2 years after the warranty has expired!"
Support: "Dude, we're no technicians. It will cost you 230€/hour."
Me: "Thanks, I'll keep this in mind when I have to buy new servers. Have a nice day."
