that being at the cremation of an aunt is a great help for cousins, because you went through the same thing (death of mother) 2 years ago. You _know_ how it feels.

That unicode() and string.encode() do NOT do the same thing...

It explains why I couldn't fix unicode support in vCLI's scramble game.

Sometimes it does. I think the trick is to ask at the right time.

On the other hand, "ask and ye have lost nothing by trying." ;)

Learned not to take chances on an old transmission.    The seal was bad, I had to take the whole thing out of the chassis... Just because of the seal/oil bearing.  Basically the bad seal caused low transmission oil pressure, and it will burn up. Sprayed hot transmission fluid all over the boat hull.      Got done today, and the 302 block is running great, but the carburetor needs t be replaced on the starboard engine.  The transmission problem was on port side, and had taken two days for the new  seal/bearing to show from UPS.

Thursday night I had to rebuild 454 Crusader HO (port side),  the damn exaust manifolds are cast iron,  they weigh upwards to 80-100lbs. Each.   Lifted the to the boat, down the galley, and had to hoist them ip on a beam, that was after I got the bent push rods out from the water in the piston ports...   Not good for a boat engine to have hydraulic pressure in the pistons hulls,  the guy almost blew the pushrods out of the headers. Anyhow. He knows now.   3 hour drive, 12hours putting his engine back together, all of it...  Then a 3 hour drive home.    Didn't get back home until 4am Friday.  That is when I started the transmission job for the broken seal.  Ha ha...  I'll sleep great tonight.

WOW! :o Is it for real?

Apparently it is. I don't think I've ever been in that Subway, but next time I'll certainly take a look ^^

I learnt this yesterday.
And yes, it is related.

Today I learnt that printing PDF files from the contextmenu is not as simple as it sounds.

Huh??

I learnt that passwords in Na'vi are quite strong. I told my coworker my password, he typed in what he heard and he could not log in. He missed the ' and 2 x's.  8)
