whoa, ma Txur, you shouldn't drink, it's bad for you :( and that's not really what Na'vi would do (I don't believe they would do anything they know is harmful to them)
Sorry ma Ney'ite but if I was leaving my family behind for four years to go fight a war, I would hit the bottle too.  And I've been sober my entire life thus far

when you feel like rejecting all things humanity has created/accomplished...
When you see smoke rising into the air from a factory and you become enraged

I understand. I have had some self-destructive habits as well.

I hate seeing things like that; pollution, trash, any of it. :(

You refer to animals as brother/sister.

I have done this, while also calling my pets names' with 'ma' at the beginning :P my mom asked me this morning, "Why do you keep saying 'my' when you talk to the dogs?" ;D

eyawr? I replied; "That's why you think that Neytiri said 'My Jake' in the film, right?" and ma sa'nok was like, ".... She didn't? Well then, what the hell did she say?" and I explained it to her and she was like, "Why the hell would they add another pointless syllable in front of a name?" and I replied, "It's a fictional language, ma sa'nok!" and she just stared at me and said, "You're weird." ;D

"fictional?" jk we already had that discussion

Anyway when you look back on your life and see that you've always preferred a bow over a gun and now wondered if that had any significance.

Oh yes! I've done archery, stopped that for a while and now I found a man who does workshops in making your own longbow.
I want to do that. I'm on his waiting list for when he starts up again (he works outdoors, too cold now). :D

Ouch. That bites. Good luck, I hope your luck will change, so you can notch arrows and draw back strings again...

This:

is what's the ultimate result of such a workshop. Simple, effective.

(Picture officially stolen from www.simonlongbow.com. Pictures of a workshop at the bottom of this page.)

And the desire to have a bow again and use it, srane, that is definitely a result from Na'vi soul flaring up... I also want to try using it "Na'vi" style, so shooting with the palm away from the face instead of towards it.

Nìprrte, ma Neyn'ite Ateyo. You will have to wait until I made it though, it's still a bit nippy outside. 5C / 41F is not the temperature to be outside all day making tsko. ;)

Simon promised he'd send me an e-mail when he starts the workshops again.
