Damn. There's a league?!? I'm jealous. Anyways, no I don't play. I only ever played in high school and it always made me want to play football.

Yeah dude. In Australia, it's popular among Universities. In America, you can get degrees to Colleges.

There must be a lot more depth to it than I know. I even have a friend at work who is a DIEHARD Ultimate Frisbee fan/player.

Yes, contrary to what many may thing, it's a very technical game! It's really fast too, which I like.

What I like about it is that it really isn't to far separated from football. The basics of getting open, covering potential receivers, and throwing are all there. Are there "plays"?

Yes, there are "plays".

There is the vertical stack, which is used during offence. The team basically lines up behind another (there are 5 lining up as the 2 handlers are handling the disc) and the people in the pack cut in and out.

Sounds like a lot of fun if your playing with a lot of people :D

7 per side. Many subs too. There are so many tactics in Ultimate. Too many to recall at once.

I've never heard of Ultimate Frisbee.... Whats the difference between this and regular Frisbee....

Regular Frisbee isn't exactly a game.. Imagine a game mixture of Rugby and Netball that is non contact and played with a disc. That's pretty much it.
