Blue Elf

Sometimes I enter wrong password or even user name (when I have Na'vi keyboard active  :)), So I'm  redirected into error login page (https://forum.learnnavi.org/index.php?action=login2)
But this page is shown incorrectly, IMO CSS is not applied (probably incorrent link inside page?) Can you check it and fix?
It's not real problem, but I'm always surprised why that page differs too much from standard look of the forum.

Do you mean something like this:
old gallery link?id=5359[/img]
:-\

I get that always, because I have the letter ì in my name, it works without any problem for me if I enter normal i (that was one of the letters I used for my original registration name).

As your name (Blue Elf) doesn't contain such letters ä, ì, î etc. it usually should work without problem.
And yes, I see an error message for your login attempt:
IP address
---.---.---.---

Display name
Guest
Message
Password incorrect - <your original registration name>
?action=login2
Date
Today at 01:39:31 pm

Edit: try to enter your original registration name.

Edit2:

That's because that extra page has SSL activated. See "https". :)

This is true. I do see a similar error message like Blue Elf. Your original registration name was "toliman" with small t.

I somehow think that the login field on the top of the forum maybe have problem with the login procedure if there is a difference between forum display name and original registration name.

If you login with the login field on the bottom of the forum (I use it always), it works without error.

EDIT: there was an older thread with the same report:
http://forum.learnnavi.org/suggestions/problem-logging-on/
But let's continue here. :)

Yes I know, my original registration name is toliman.
I login always through login field on the top. Thanks for advice  :)

Although the forum generally operates in http, anything regarding logging in and passwords is handled in ssl (https).  -M.

According some Google search (this or this), it seems that this issue has to do with the Bad Behavoir mod.
How often do you get that error?

As far as I remember, I found something similar 3 or 4 times. But this error is first since last 2 years so we can name it first.

I am not very familiar with that mod and I am not seeing anything weird or something. If this error is going to become more frequent or annoying I'll have to take a look at the code if my time permits. I never got that error and this make reproducing that error difficulty.

You might try logging out, rebooting, and logging back in. If it goes away, it was some weird data construct in your computer.

I've just had some problems to login here - when I entered my crentials, I've got this (see picture).
When I click to { fix this problem yourself}, I get this message (page address is http://ioerror.us/bb2-support-key?key=d970-a483-b40c-8ddc):

web browser's request contained old or corrupted cookies.
To resolve this problem, first clean your computer of viruses and other malware.
Then clear your cookies for the site you were visiting.

Is it normal? It didn't help to open new browser instance (Firefox 42.0). Finally I refreshed login2 page and was able to login, but it looks strange (and yes, cookie can be outdated, as I only hibernate my PC while Firefox is still opened)

I never got that. Is there anyone else who is getting that? ???
Ma Blue Elf, error 403 is a client error on your site. I would first just delete the browser cache, if that do not help, check your browser as well as your firewall configuration. Probably, there could be a browser plugin that cause that error.

webmaster with 5 in? Hmm...

Edit: There was nothing in the error log like "Blue Elf - password incorrect" or something.

I would really know how one can trigger that error in order to reproduce it. :-\

Edit: I should try this on the weekend:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=436205.msg3400361#msg3400361

Double-edit: I found something in the code:
Code (post.inc.php) Select
if ($screener > 0) {
// Posting too fast? 5 sec
// FIXME: even 5 sec is too intrusive
// if ($screener + 5 > time())
// return "408d7e72";
// Posting too slow? 48 hr
if ($screener + 172800 < time())
return "b40c8ddc";

It includes the second part of your support key.

The Bad Behavior mod got re-enabled again somehow. I have turned it back off.  The reverse proxy works without the browser scanner on.
