I guess what you put is one broken way indeed.

The sentence not broken would be any of...

  Ngari sempul rey.
/ Ngari rey sempul.

or

  Ngeyä sempul rey.
/ Sempul ngeyä rey.
/ Rey ngeyä sempul.
/ Rey sempul ngeyä.

So I guess anything other than these is broken in some way

I know in Na'vi the word selected to play last carries emphasis so Sempul ngeyä rey is perfect. It's such a simple sentance that I think a beginner would not struggle.
