Sentence Structure

I've been looking everywhere for somewhere that explains the Na'Vi setence structure or order, and came across this site. Think anyone can help me out?

Unfortunately, we don't really know yet.  There are a few things that we do know.

• Unless otherwise specified, order of the words does not matter.
  Oe-l kam<ei>e nga-ti kam<ei>e oe-l nga-t and nga-ti kam<ei>e oe-l all mean the same thing.
• It is possible to make compound sentences

The rest, is just guesses or conjecture.  There are some ordering rules (Such as placement of adjectives to nouns) and I'd imagine that clauses of a compound sentence would be distinct and not intermixed.  Aside from that, you can throw the words you want in however you like.  Suffixes are used for the various nouns to distinguish how they relate to the verb.

I'm not smart but lemme try.

For sentence structure, would it be kind of like spanish?  How the description would be at the end of the sentence?

Tengo una camisa roja. (spanish)

I have a red shirt.  roja is red and at the end of the sentence for the description of the shirt.  And the shirt being the main subject of the sentence.

literal translation is
Tengo = I have
una - a
camisa = shirt
roja red

So in Na'vi

Oe-l ngati kameie

I see you

So in a sense, Na'vi puts the main subject of the sentence at the end.

Oe-l = I
ngati = you
kameie = see

For sentence structure, the last word would be the main thing/what they are describing/core subject of what ever the person is trying to say.  Like how yoda would speak in starwars. 

"Meditate on this, I will".  "Will" being the main action/description at the end for what is trying to be said.

Eveng Eywaya oe lu
I am a child of Eywa
child eywa I am


I hope this makes sense, this is just a guess on what I think it could be.  Idk if I even explained it well haha i'm not that smart.

Typically they actually say it as Oe-l nga-ti kam<ei>e though

The order of those words do not matter in that sentence.

Oe-l ean-a ikran-ti ts<ìm>e'a
I saw a blue mountain banshee

In that sentence, ean-a ikran must be together (But could be ikran a-ean) but aside from that the order does not matter.

Na'vi does not have a rigid sentence structure within a clause.

Edit: Oops I had it wrong how they normally say it.

isn't the subject Oel? not you?

yes the subject is oel. the object that the subject (oel) is doing something to (kameie) is ngati as shown by the -ti suffix
