Made by epic games of course... :P you could choose to destroy pandora or to
protect it. You choose once at the beginning to be either a marine or a pilot. Then later in the game you could go over to either side. A marine with bows and arrows living like the na'vi or a na'vi carrying around a minigun like a pistol destroying everything in your path. Then if you played a na'vi and were pandoran you could choose to get your conciousness transferred to your avatar forever. Then you free roam all of pandora (or a large part of it). During the game you would have to learn acrobatics to get to new places. The acrobatics that you choose further affect gameplay. See how much companies could get into the game?

I haven't played yet, but my friends have, and apparently there are character names that have B's in them(!)
Judging by what you say I wouldn't use the game as a learning resource, either. The VA's probably tried their best but I doubt they had the same intensive study session as the film actors. :3

Yes, don't expect learning too, too much about the world of Avatar via the game's Pandorapedia. Simply use it as an entertainment purpose. In my opinion, anyone who is an Avatar fan and wants more Na'vi vs. RDA battles should get the game.
My uncle's dog came over a little less than one week ago. I stupidly left the computer plug on the floor. That night, his dog chewed it up. So, the next morning, I go looking for the plug and I find a chewed up piece of metal. I sadly cannot purchase a new plug right now, and my computer's battery is out. I'm at my public library.

Also, I discovered this promising "small business" film company called Mirror Entertainment. It looks really promising: http://www.mirrorente

An Avatar RPG would be epic, like it gives you an open environment in the forest and surrounding area, start off as a grunt similar to Jake Sully and let you do whatever you want from there after you've passed basic training, kinda like Oblivion with Pandora instead. THAT would be epic.

That's a great Idea.

It is, I would like to make it, but due to some lack of programming skills, I'm unable to. Also the modeling for game characters would be problem. Even though I know how I need to do both, but combining gives the problem.

Note: My 100rd post. I'm unìltirantokx now.

I never get merchandise for movies I like (besides books) because I know that it will just ruin the experience. They've never made a good movie game, as far as I know, and they probably never will until video games and movies collide, and the theaters become video game movies. :P

!!!
Video game movie theaters...Now that would be cool although it might be a bit awkward to get any plot from it. It would give you a unique experience every time you went I suppose tho :P

While the game isn't the best, i have fun playing it, it's relaxing and true the way they speak na'vi is bad but the game isn't that bad in my opinion.

its kinda funny how every game based of a movie blows except the star wars ones. they're not too bad. i really hope they make a quality game with graphics similar to what you see in the movie. and yes the technology exists. just take a look at CoD MW2, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, and any other quality game you can think of...

If they use the Cryengine 3 this thing could be awesome! Just imagine how pretty the nature would be. And with everything being destructive, you could really get imaginative with the killing! Anyway, I hope they don't mess it up.

I would pay good money for a Lego Avatar game. Hahahaha!!! Your Na'vi legos would be taller and bluer than your RDA Legos. Ahhh...

You know I've been thinking for a couple years now on my first homemade video game... an Avatar RPG would be perfect! I have all the skills except the audio (I won't even imagine what Avatar RPG would be like with no sound... ~shudders~). It mixes both the elements of advanced technology, spiritualism, naturalism, militarism, and the bloody mix between them!

And from what I understand with home-brewed games: as long as they are free and copyrighted elements credited properly, it is legal!

(Yes I know, this is off topic, sorry!)

hihi I have the programming skill and the audio skill but nothing in design. Maybe that could get to something :P

Did anyone else hear the word for explosives? That was lawltastic.

kintìomum

It sounded like a Na'vi trying to recreate the sound of some charges blowing in rapid succession.
Bang-da-dang! to Kxangangang...
So, quite good. Also one of the few words I heard (didn't spend too much attention) where they got the ejective right.
kintìomum : curiosity (lit.: need knowledge)

"You don't dream in cryo" they say. Good! Imagine a 6-year-nightmare!

Yes i did also. I felt that they rushed the game, and if only they put more time into it...who knows how epic it could have been!

last Toruk Makto - was Neytiri grandfather of grandfather or something. I think it was more than few years ago

Meuia te Stxeli Tstew'itan

Nop. What she says is: "My grand-father's grand-father was toruk makto." Which doesn't let know if there was an other one between him and Jake. ;)
