http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/From_3dsmax_to_Oblivion_CS seems to list everything you would need to know with 3ds max

you wont need to import it into the CS, rayne and i will cover that, if you wanna texture them you can or provide a UV map our texture artest can fix up

so, what do you want to do?
-----------------------------
-new characters (Na'vi)?
-new weapons (for Na'vi)?
-new music?
-new voices?
-new map (Pandora)?
-new objects (buldings...)?
------------------------------

Irayo, aytsukean! I will try the NifSkope and NifTools sometime this week! And I'm thankful there is a working version for 3DS Max 9, cause that is what I have... I tried the Halo PC Blitzkrieg, but that only works for 3DS Max 6 and below (Like I'm downgrading... the software is ridiculously expensive! You know, something on the lines of $5,000 or so!)

But yea anyways, thanks guys I'll give it a shot :D!

currently im working on the map (based on varius conquest maps from avatar the game)

hmmm the na'vi race isnt finished yet no no point in working on that
if you can make bows  and weapons from AtG that ould help alot also
music  not sue what we are gonna do yet
voices are alway's usefull  we have a few people from  here already on the team as VA and speech coaches
if you can make plants like the helicordion and other such pandora fauna that would be more usefull than anything

-----------------

the object of this mod is to make parts of pandora look so familiar that you say (while playing it)  wow that's just like in the movie.
while playing the firt version of the test cell to make sure navi sized chars and normal sized chars can make jumps from branch to branch i found myself having goosebumps like i did during the movie

add vines, water, and mist, duplicate, resize, alter different models, and you can have the Hallelujah mountains. (or whatever you call them)
Great job, i can't wait to see more.

not sure how to add water to it at this time or i would have done so, the vines are on the way but during the test, the cave is too thin for a navi charachter to walkthrough so im editing that

I've had some experience with the tes construction kit and know how to put levels together, but I suppose that would come later.

I was thinking that, I can't believe you've made such progress already, when this is finished it will rival the great mods like elsweyr and that one about Arkay whose name escapes me.

I'm soo exited by this, you guys are great, message me if you want a hand with maps.

love Na'vi smilies! (yes, it was a command! :O)

I love them as my own Children

Oh, wait look at the sig ;D

we also have a ventrillo for the team to get together and  work
since im the one doing most if not all of the mapping help would be awsome

----

someone else mentioned FO3 modding, unfortunatly i dont have it and i dont know the dynamics of modding it

it probbably has better graphics but lack of meshers and textureres has us stuck in oblivion

this is the surface of the one of the mounthains, i had to cheat to get up there *points at dragon*  we are trying to convince the owner of that mod (the ridable drake) to allow us to make  icran / toruk using his script

if there were icran flyign around here and  a few navi  instead of this generic person.

this is the cave to lead to where jake get's his icran  (this is unfinished right now waiting on more textures )

Just thought I'd mention something real quick, I noticed you kept spelling icran when it should be ikran not being mean just pointing it out.
