avatar the oblivion mod
« on: January 14, 2010, 09:48:50 pm »
after see'ing the movie 9 times in theaters (obsessive much? i know )
buying the soundtrack

and spending hours helping write the wiki

a team of modders have taken it apon themselves (myself included) to recreate the paradise that is pandora

and so far we have a decent looking na'vi race for the game

but we need help with everything from VOICE ACTING to making modles for plants to bring pandora's fauna to life.

if anyone knows any one who can help voice act  (in na'vi of course) please visit this forum page and help us
http://thenexusforums.com/index.php?showtopic=170284&st=0
this is a great oppertunity for people who want to vocaly use the language to do so as vice acters

It looks nice, but I think that you could add some depth to the muscles, looks a little too flat.

Interesting... if this mod gets a lot of work done on it... i may actually consider reinstalling oblivion on my computer. XD I'm still learning the language, and managing a few projects of my own, else i would consider helping with this, but The Midsummer's Nights Dream translation is taking up all my free time. :(

I've never played Oblivion before, but I have heard good things.

I look forward to more!

This looks great, I only wish there was a way to install mods to the PS3 version but alas no, Sony hates modders it would seem.

Very interested in this! Its a great idea! :D

I'm not sure if I still have oblivion for the pc (I have it on 360), but I might re-buy it if this mod gets finished!

keep up the work. I'm afraid I can't contribute at this point (need to learn much more about 3D modelling at college before i can contribute, and I'm no voice actor/Na'vi speaker, but when these skills improve I'll be mroe than happy to offer help!)

Keep up the good work! :)

love Na'vi smilies! (yes, it was a command! :O)

I know your looking for Blender people... I personally don't have the time to learn a new 3D suite. Although I do have pretty good skills with 3DS Max! All I need to know is this: what should the file format be for the Oblivion mod? A DirectX .X file? Or another kind? Please let me know, I do want to help!
