Avatar Breaks 2 billion

McDonald's had the Avatar happy meal toys. Jake, Neytiri, A Pa'li and i think some other animal.

I got that Tsuti guy I hate so much! (Mc Donald's Happy Meal Toy). I think, from his pose, that he is supposed to be riding an Ikran. I wanted Jake or Neytiri, but i didn't want to keep going back to Mc Donalds--and I think they were almost all done with the toys, as I found this guy in late January.


I know it is the Tutu guy *(whatever his name is) because he has that huge brown beaded neckbrace thing, like he was in an ikran collision. (Do they have accident lawyers on Pandora?)

The sick part is that merchandising has barely just begun. 

Is there even an official publisher and a place that sell official Avatar merch?

The only official merchandising i'm aware of is the Noble Collection and it's several replica items from Avatar. Includes Jewelry, and the bone knives.

Walmart had the Avatar toys on sale, but for some reason they were pulled off the shelves about 3 weeks ago. That may be different now.

I don't think so, there's a few little things on Amazon but nothing really good.

To be honest, I'm surprised. Most of the time when a big movie comes out there's tons of merchandise available by the time it hits the screen. Way to drop the ball Fox.

Amazon has a few good ones, I actually bought one for a friend because its really cheap, but apparently really nice quality. Like, $6 for the poster and shipping. Cute pose too.

You make a good point. I would have figured that merchandise would be available at this point. They may have done an initial test run first to see interest. I have a feeling the floodgates are gonna open in about a month, but i can't say anything for sure. I'm disappointed, because I would like more memoriabilia other than what i have now. You know that when this stuff does become available, it may fly off the shelves. But who knows.
