Avatar to leave IMAX 3D March 4th

So I just found out that Avatar is leaving most if not all IMAX 3D theaters March 4th (next Thursday) so Alice in Wonderland can come in. I so sad D: But i intend to go see the last show if at ALL possible in the theaters and boo the people waiting to see Alice, no offense to them, I'm sure it'll be great, but I can't pretend to be happy about that. :p

I never did get to see it in IMAX. I'll definitely see it now, however. (Another, what? $500 million for Avatar? I say this because everyone will want to see it another time before it goes. Come on, you know I'm right  )

Most IMAX will be rotating it out on Tuesday or Wednesday evening, so don't get caught, it takes a while to unload the platters and load up the new reel... There's a thread about this here.  My local IMAX last showing is Wednesday at 10.40pm.

And in other news, there are no IMAX-theatres in Sweden, because f*** me I guess? At least Avatar will still play in regular RealD-theatres even after Alice's premiere, although I suppose there wont be as many viewings.

Like Will said before and showed in the corresponding thread, you may want to check your close by theaters about their rotating schedule for Avatar screening , it might differ and be actually a few days earlier then the 4th of March. Better check it or make arrangments for an earlier screen so you won't get disappointed

I only got to see it twice in IMAX 3D. I guess I'll have to settle for 2D

Also leaving at the same time. When Skxawng and I saw it in IMAX in NYC and the trailer for Alice in Wonderland came up I almost booed.

Anyway, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. I'll just pretend that this means we're getting closer to Avatar 2
