Okay, so what have I missed?

Have U.S. Marine corporal hero (the colonel calls him Corporal--once)
Happen "off planet" (distant planetoid/moon)
Have cool female helicopter pilots ("in the pipe-- 5 by 5") who get killed by the primary villain
Have super-hot "tough girls" who look a lot alike, with big guns (Pvt. Vasquez and Trudy of course).
Have a "Selfridge-looking corporate bad guy"
Are stories about the individual standing up to A: violent oppression, and B: capitalistic greed
Have (or will) sequels! Yaaay!        (This may be my favorite point)
Have main characters holding REALLY BIG GUNS (Corporal Hicks and JakeSully--in Av mode)
Made lots of money.
Have really cool toys.

Also:

Aliens are blue-ish (in the right light...well if you hit them with a blue spotlight)
Na'vi and aliens are about ten feet tall and loveable.
Palulukan and aliens will eat you for breakfast and are the scariest things--like . . .everrrrrr.
