Did u you like that new version or the movie, or do you want more cut scene

One thing about a trilogy is that it is easy to overcommit what is released when you are only at the first film. People want more, but more you try to provide, the more "story creep" you get, making it harder to stay on the planned arc for the following sequels. I am guessing that Cameron is keeping that in mind.

It's tough to strike that balance - any longer and we're getting into mini-series territory. Not that that would be a bad thing...

I really appreciated the scenes where Grace and Jake talk about Neytiri and Silwanin, what happened at the school, Grace's heartache at what was lost, and her concern that Jake was going to burn out. Now we can more clearly see the development of their relationship from Grace's initial contempt for the "jarhead dropout" to their becoming close friends.

I loved it.

Especially what Tsu'tey said in the end.

What did Jake say there? I just couldn't hear the last line while crying my eyes out >_<

Human No More

I do want more... not even more deleted scenes (assuming that was all/almost all of them) - but more FINISHED scenes. I wasrealyl disappointed they didn't finish the uniltaron or attack on Hell's Gate... although it's worth having just for Jake and Neytiri making tsaheylu...
and the backstory with Sylwanin... stupid skypeople :(

Yes, to me Tsu'tey's goodbye was the most emotionally powerful scene in the movie, almost overwhelming in intensity.

I really want to know what Jake said too - those lines are still missing from the avatar Na'vi script on the wiki  ???

I heard, "oeru txoa livu, ma tsmukan,... salew tirea.."

I was a little lost due to the speed it was spoken at.  This is in need for the lì'fyayä leNa'vi sulfätu, who are much more fluent in Na'vi, to get this line out onto the wiki ;)

It's just a repeat of the same prayer he said over his first kill, and said with about the same lack of skill at Na'vi.  IMO it is a bit strange to say in that context.  "Tokx 'ì'awn slu Na'viyä hapxì" - ???
But then again, maybe it's the only words of prayer he knew over something he was killing.

No, it's not his words - I think it's Neytiri's words when she kills the aynantang.

His words when he kills the Yerik start with "Oel ngati kameie, ma tsmukan, ulte ngaru seiyi irayo".

I also loved the new scene with Grace - it really put a damper on the joy of the next scene, though, so I can see why it was removed. It was just SO emotional, though.

We got a chance to watch the director's cut last night, and after Jake sent Tsu'tey back to Eywa, and he was speaking rather quietly and quickly in Na'vi but I could make out "my brother" and something about "spirit" - I'll have to listen closely and write it down. Hopefully it's a bit different from what he said to the yerik...

It is - pretty sure as I said it's what Neytiri says to the aynantang as she kills them:

Oeru txoa livu, ma oeyä tsmukan. Hu nawma sa'nok tivul ngeyä tirea.

(Need to watch it again to be sure, though - there may also be more that we don't hear Neytiri say)

It was so incredibly awesome. Tsu'tey's death scene was just as amazing as ever..... ::)

Well, I'm on a Mac so I won't be any help. But just checking--you're not trying to play a Blu-ray disc, right?

Yes, I watched that scene again tonight, and while it was spoken quietly (reverently) and quickly, I did hear the same phrases.

Yes, I am very glad to have bought it. I watched the scene with Tsu'tey's final goodbye tonight, in order to listen closely to what Jake said and found it so emotionally intense that it was hard to watch it more than once. But I did hear "oeru txoa livu, ma oeyä tsmukan" and (if memory serves) "tirea salew hu Eywa" - similar to the words Neytiri spoke over the slain aynantang.
