Now is time to find error in the movie

Goto Search and look for the Toruk Macto scene is not write in the correct way. Correction = Toruk makto

Sіr. Ηaxalot

Yeah, I have noted that in the Theaters too. Guess that it will be on the BD aswell.

I think it's because the script says macto, probably it was one of JCs own words, but Frommer changed the spelling later.

Eanikran

yeah, I noticed its on the ipod version too
I lol'd a little when I saw it  :D

well, for most things, the english subtitles are very intresting, and a good resoruce... although we already knew what they were saying, it is nice to know we were right.

Good example is when neytiri learn to jake how to use a bow @ 1:00:03
Txur nì'ul - Stronger

You know, it's so wierd. For a long long time I always thought she said (in English), 'Don't know the words....stronger.' Didn't realise she was speakig Na'vi. Funny how your mind fills stuff in when you can't quite understand what was said.

Muzer

What, do your English subtitles actually show the Na'vi words as well? Lucky bastards, and damn Fox's European division...

Txur nì'ul is in the Swedish subs as well.

I also noted that in the English subtitles they spell it wrong when Jake fails with pronouncing Tsu'tey, but it is "corrected" in the Swedish subs.

I haven't played with the subs yet. You all gave me that little extra push I needed to watch it yet again  ;D ;D

In the scene where they are trying to transfer Grace to her Avatar the swedish subtitles are different.
When they chant, the english subtitles say "Eywa, help her." and the swedish ones say "Eywa, all energis källa.".

Muzer

I read on a wikipedia talk page (don't ask) that the UK subs are generally changed so they'd sound better in English but they are much less true to the Na'vi than the US ones. The US ones say "Eywa, source of all energy" IIRC.

Never trust wikipedia and you'll be able to go through life just fine.

Well, I have other evidence to back up the claim. It was a talk page as well, so I did take it with quite a pinch of salt...

Yea, the other evidence would make it credible.

My motto about that stuff:

But its hard for since we need to use it for school, but it has an advantage, if something is wrong I can blame Wikipedia

This shows us how we as humans are not perfect. It does not bother me, the error. Although Oel ngati kameie with being dissatisfied because you spent a pretty penny on BD...   Nontheless, I hope the error will not make my eyes see, and my mouth say "WTF IS THAT!?!!!?1" I might die of malnurishment of AVATAR. :D

About some errors, when I play the DVD on my PS3, I get the menu in English, when I play the DVD on a DVD player I get the menu in Dutch. And also when you are at the main menu and I once heard them singing, kä kä, but I went right away to the set-up to turn off the subs, then I thought, Hey! They don't normally sing Jake's First Flight in it, well not that part. ( Remind that this is Dutch one )

Thats odd. Why would the soundtracks change for the international versions of the film?
