Held your breath whenever there was an air breach?

Such as when Colonel Quaritch is shooting at the helicoptor, or when he's battling Jake...

Well when I watch Avatar I feel more na'vi than anything, so I have no need to hold my breath.

I did, just to see if they made it so that it was a realistic period of time for them to be holding their breath.

Then again, it's a bit unfair with me, Oe can hold my breath for about two min or so if Oe take a deep breath. Comes from being a choir body.

I tried... for the same reasons.
But it really is depending on circumstances. Try holding your breath while typing the next post, then without taking a lungfull of air before (surprise-effect) and next repeat these two when running up a flight of stairs...
Quaritch's action was everytime with preparation, either in the comcenter, or in the Dragon and in his AMP suit for sure. The one in the Dragon would have been the most challenging:
Taking a breath from the mask, running to the cargo bay, climbing up the suit, opening the hatch, shooting at Jake, climbing back in and into the suit with a burning shoulderpad...

i did, but not because i was trying to. it was instinctive and i didnt even realize i was doing it until i had to take in a breath. i still do it now because after 8 times im still that into the moment.

I thought it was pretty bad ass how he just ignored the fire on his shoulder. Ya i agree that on the dragon must of been the most difficult. The explosion could of knocked the air right out of him.

yea, even though quaritch was pretty evil. i couldnt bring myself to hate him because he was such a bad ass. he is actually on my top 5 fav characters

Well, I didn't do that.

I can hold my breath and swim under water for 75 metres. (Takes about 4 minutes, last half is feeling like hell, but then, without the fire, since fire can't be under water.)

Went and saw it again today.

Tried to pull it off. And I did

Almost yelled out in celebration, but remembered that I was still in the threater and calmed myself down.

... Was still badass though

Well Quadritch most likely went through some intense military style aerobic excercises...I mean don't some people um...dive into the sea without an oxygen tank? Forgot whats it called, but its pretty darn impressive.

the thing is though is that honestly Quaritch wasn't really a villian or evil he was just following order's on what he was told to do.

Quaritch isn't EVIL or anything like that.
He did have orders.
He wanted to protect his men.
But when he desided to strike for the neck in a premtive strike like that...
Well, that was a bit drastic. I can understand if the Na'vi struck first, but you don't just up and say 'we'll kill you first.' because you see groups of forces appearing. That usually makes YOU the badguy.
