So, how many times have you seen it? So far, I've seen it three times, and probably won't spend any more money in the theater... I'll just wait for the blu-ray release. Of course, I also got the soundtrack, which I listen to daily.

First viewing: 12/19 10pm (3D)
Second viewing: 12/23 6pm (3D)
Third viewing: 12/29 8pm (2D)

And ya, 3D is the best way to see it, but I wanted to try it in 2D once.

I have seen it five times so far, all in IMAX 3D. Current bill for all the tickets is $82.50, $16.50/per.

09-18 0001 (12:01am Midnight)  In line at 09-17 1200 (12:00pm Noon)
09-19 0900 (09:00am)              In line at 0600 (06:00am)
09-22 1205 (12:05pm)              In line at 0900 (09:00am)
09-28 0845 (08:45am)              In line at 0545 (05:45am)
09-31 2210 (10:10pm)              In line at 1900 (07:00pm)

Hasn't been the longest I've waited in line for a movie though. For Transformers 2, I lined up on the at 1000 (10:00am) and waited till 0300 (03:00am) the next day to see it in IMAX. That's right I waited for 15 hours for one movie, and Transformers 2 wasn't as great as I hoped it was.

I have only seen it once, and that was in 2D  :-\
I live in Denmark and there is a long way to the nearest cinema with 3D..
But it was still amazing, because we sat very near the screen, so it felt a bit like 3D ;)

17.12.2009 19:50 3D slovak dabing  (Real 3D)
27.12.2009 13:50 3D slovak dabing  (xPand)
04.01.2010 17:40 2D english with cz subtitles
06.01.2010 10:50 3D slovak dabing (Real3D)

and i want to see it in IMAX without dabing and subtitles, but it´s problem to find it without dabing :( there is only one undabbed copy of Avatar and it´s only 2D

seen it in 2d -1, real3d -1, imax 3d - several %)

guess I'm lucky -  need to drive for 15 minutes to get to closest 2d location.

I'd say real3d has better picture quality, regarding moving objects (less smoothing, flicker, does not make me dizzy)
though imax 3d is definetly more involving( and has way better sound).

I wish they switch to real3d for imax... seems like different way of polarization helps.
Where is my NDD fix?
