College.  It kills.
Tell me about it...I've seen it only twice, and I haven't had any time to watch the extras beyond the deleted scenes. :( Projects, English papers, and then finals...

I was hoping to watch it this week, but studying for my astronomy exam clogged my schedule. My prof horribly exaggerated the difficulty of the final...

Good news is college is now out for the semester, so I'll be able to watch it for its anniversary :)

Hate to double post, but I can add a 3rd from this morning :)

Watched the theatrical since that's what came out this time last year, and some of the deleted scenes.

EDIT: 12/25: Can add a 4th from tonight - watched the CE version with my grandmother (who had never seen the movie). That's 38 total viewings counting all formats and versions...

I've seen the whole CE once. I don't know if I'll watch the documentary though.

Txantslusam Skxawng

I have watched it once, except that I didn't read the scripts and some parts of the RDA weaponry and stuff

Still can't watch my CE BD movie (the discs with extramaterials work). :( It's been over a month since I bought the BD-player and still no firmware update.

Technowraith

My collector's edition I've watched 20 times.

My regular edition got 211 views. But I have to replace it since my DVD player died, eating the disc. >.<

Are those 211 views all actual viewings, or are some "listening and imagining it in my head while being productive at the same time" viewings?

I wouldn't question Technowraith's authenticity...

True, but what exactly counts as a viewing? I remember him mentioning that he listened to it while working a while back in another thread (or am I mistaken?), and am simply wondering if those are counted there or not...

I probably could have worded my earlier post a lot better...(I was rushing because I was late for something).

I only count full viewings when I am awake to see them. My home theater system allows me to run the sound without viewing the video. So often times I would put the DVD on loop, and then just fall asleep to the soundtrack of the movie in the background. This obviously is not viewing Avatar in the real sense. So any time that was done, I never counted it in the total. Or you would be looking at some 1,200 views. O_O

WOW. That's a lot.

My BD and DVD players won't allow audio only, but my PC (ripped the disc and tossed the video data) and my modified Wii can do it. If I'm busy (cleaning my room, etc.), I sometimes put it on. If I count everything, I probably have just over 100 total (39 were viewings, rest are audio), plus at least another 50 incomplete viewings/listenings.

Recently though, I've just been listening to XTU (country is my music genre of choice).

As for falling asleep...If there's something entertaining to listen to, I end up staying awake to listen. As a result, I fall asleep every night to the drone of a box fan and my PC running.

It's a Philips BDP2700. They've finally released an update for it :D Can't wait to come home and try it. The only thing it updated was "Improve playback of 'AVATAR' Blu-ray disc." Took them long enough (almost two months).

Update: It finally works! And it's so pretty with blu-ray. :D
