Number four is coming soon. Maybe on Monday or Tuesday.

I watched the movie in 3D, for my first time. That was 2 days before, I went there with my friends and I was amazed and fascinated, so I watched it for the 2nd time, it was yesterday.
It never becomes boring and I would like to see it the third time, hehe. :D

I am not competing, I want to experience this cinematic event first hand to the fullest possible extent.  The IMAX-3d visit I am going to have before it leaves the theater.  I may go a couple more times, listening to the Na'vi speak their language, after trying to get a handle on the language here, it makes the movie going experience so much more elaborate.

saw it the second time, actually understood some of what they said without even needing to read, it was quite cool. perhaps if i go see it again, i wont even need subtitles.
The 3D was even better this time, perhaps it was just the theater who had advertised "real D 3D" tech.

but i notices that shinny objects seem to have an odd effect on the 3D camera.

i've seen it twice in theaters, and i have it on my phone that ive watched like every night for the past 3 or 4 days, at least once...
so, i guess my count is up to 5 or 6, going to it tomorrow again in theaters with a friend visiting in town, maybe i can learn a few phrases in na'vi and impress them by that time ;3

So far, 3 times in IMAX 3D, but I have been seeing it in my head since the day it opened (eidetic memory can be a curse, but not this time).

After about the third time you start noticing little things, like in the sequence where they are "tuning" Jake for his avatar for the first time, Max has 2 computer displays showing Jake and his avatar's brain activity. Notice the avatar display on the left (closer in the POV) has a little bundle of nerves trailing out the back of the brain, presumably for the neural queue (in the hair braid) that the Na'vi use for tsahaylu. Or another little thing where Jake, who lost a twin brother, pointedly calls Tsy'tey "brother" several times in the movie. There are many others and I am finding some all the time.

James Cameron has had much time to complete the experience and it shows. This film plays with your head.

I know it happened to me too. But it was more like "Wait she said kehe...I KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!" and the whole Neytiri teaching Jake nari.

Saw it for a 4th time last night. Still loving it. Now I'll have to master the language so I can see it a bunch more times and do mental translations. Gah, this movie is consuming me like no other artistic medium has since Lord of the Rings (and this was long before the movies came out).

5th time completed, I am watching the subtitles less and less each time.

Just finished my fourth time in IMAX 3D this morning. Looking to try again later this week and the weekend. Pretty much looking at six times equaling $99. IMAX 3D tickets here in San Diego are $16.50 a piece. If I manage to do more shows I will. Definitely can't wait for the sequel, just want the same effort and attention to detail they used on this one.

Not long from now, there will be an International Pandoran Summit! Will you be Na'vi-an or an RDA contractor? Choose wisely!

If I lived in that reality.

I would want to stage/participate in a raid on RDA facilities, and get the equipment used to make avatars away from them and into more responsible hands.

Just back from seeing it a third time and will be going again for time number four (there are still friends out there who were reluctant to see it and now want to go).  I am loving this movie and I found myself wanting to just spend time in that forest with nothing but silence.  I think this is the first time that I would love to have an Avatar game where you don't have to do anything but explore Pandora to your hearts content.  Dip your toe in the water and explore all of the plant life.  I think it would sell.
