Yes, I noticed this, too. I even referenced Jurassic Park raptors for an Ikran drawing.

Either the artists copied an already familiar/popular design, or it is just a startling coincidence. I hope for the latter.

In making of videos, they referenced all things living and machinery from real life and some of the time, just scaled up the plants animals and machines. Example: The giant fern leaves they fell on is from a house plant. I used to have some.

well really.. there's a certain practicality to that particular head shape.... the snout is obviously shorter than the raptor...

but the winner part for me is their extending teeth (forgot the term and i'm lazy to look it up )
