Does anyone else notice that there might be a strange resemblance of the ikran to the Jurassic Park Raptor. There faces kinda look the same, il probably post a comparison on DevArt.

Yes, I noticed this, too. I even referenced Jurassic Park raptors for an Ikran drawing.

Either the artists copied an already familiar/popular design, or it is just a startling coincidence. I hope for the latter.

Your right, well they do resemble some of the dino's of jurassic times but they are far more beautiful.

Your right, well they do resemble some of the dino's of jurassic times but they are far more beautiful.

Both Velociraptor and Deinonychus, of which the JP raptors were based off of, lived in the Cretaceous period. The Jurassic was about 90 million years before the Cretaceous.

yeah the raptor and ikran seem very similar in shape and behavior must i must say that the ikran's retractable teeth look reallllllllly deadly lol

I agree with you, first time I saw the movie , when Jake took off while Grace was checking the trees , this animal coming from nowhere , making a territory display , and I'm thinking to myself  "hmmm .. that looks like someone from the triceratop's family branch".
