just a passing thought, but I noticed Dr. Augustine says, "I would die to get samples." ironic huh?

Any other moments like that? I forget.

Yes, when she says to Quaritch (sp?): "What are you going to do?  Shoot me?", and then later he goes and shoots her :O

EDIT: You might want to put spoiler warnings in the title btw :P

I guess with entering eywa she got a better "sample" than she could ever have imagined :)
hopefully we all will be there too when we fade away to enter a better world .
I wanted you to know
I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph
I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

'cause i'm broken,
when i'm lonesome
and i don't feel right
when you're gone away

I liked when Trudy was complaining to Jake about their situation, she said something akin to -

"And here I was hoping for a plan that didn't involve becoming a martyr"

And then she was the only one in that room to essentially 'play the martyr' since both Norm and Jake survived.

I don't see why not. The movie, while heavy and dramatic, did have a fantastic sense of humor and wit. I'm sure he enjoyed sticking in the different puns and foreshadowing as any dramatic person would do.

I nearly cracked up at the name of the stuff they were mining. Unobtanium, like unobtainable? That earned a chuckle.

"And i was hoping for some tactical plan that did not involve martyrdom"

I think she said that instead. Since it was like my 4th time watching it on Sunday.

That sounds a bit more right. I need to drag a couple of my friends who haven't seen it yet as an excuse to go again... I've only seen it twice (but it was imax so its all good).

Take a notebook if you do go. Write down as many subtitles as possible ;)

Pff I'll try my best but no promises. Last time I saw it I spent the entire movie not moving with my mouth open.

I get so involved I start looking around trying to see more of the forest around me... its a pretty big fail all around XD

Except she became one with the samples! Every scientist's dream...

As I'm sure a rocket scientist wants to be apart of a rocket.

I nearly cracked up at the name of the stuff they were mining. Unobtanium, like unobtainable? That earned a chuckle.

unobtanium is actually a neam used on earth for a lot of different components. Like in F1 racing they call the super light metals they use unobtanium because it is so hard to make and insanely expensive.
"meoauniaea" (meh-oh-ah-oo-nee-ah-eh-ah). "Don't ask me what it means - I haven't assigned a meaning yet. But I love the word!" Frommer said.

"Latin and Zombies. Technically dead, but still influencing society."
