Okay, so I got the SE for X-mas...

I saw the movie in theaters 17 time... on DVD 30+...

... I haven't watched the SE once. Not once. Not for lack of interest. I love the movie as much as I ever have. I just haven't watched it because now I've still got new Avatar stuff to watch between now and the sequel. Can't wait until I decide to watch it...

Dare I say I'm back, for what, the 20th time?

As for the movie, beware of spoilers, they're not always marked and stuff from the new scenes does show up in some discussions. Anyway, that's a smart thing to do

I watched it all in one go

(except for some of the extra stuff on disc 2 and 3 of the blu-ray, so thanks for the reminder)

It has been a while! Were you a mod before I left? Either way, congrats on modship.

And yeah, I finally got legit internet back so I should be a tad more active than I have been. Just not the posting machine I was before (I reached 100 posts per day at one point).

And I'm not too concerned about spoilers else I probably still wouldn't be back here, but thanks for the warning. Plus, I've already watched the new intro and all the bonus content not concerning the extended edition. Some AWESOME scenes were cut.

OMG (to spoiler) i hade such a hard time with that at first. i was completly confused by how it was cut in two my the two dices. i had to spend 45 min trying to figure that out!

It also have extra content on Disc 2 compared to the DVD version!

I'm not sure, I think I got shiny green stars around the same time when you left.. And yay on being more active

I have to say, I don't know how you've managed to keep your curiosity at bay and not watch the SE

I even had a friend who doesn't like the movie ask me to lend it to him, haha!

I'm actually surprised how easy it's been. It's definitely not that I've lost interest in the movie. Thats far from the case. Being a gamer though, I know how awesome it is popping that brand new game you've been waiting for forever in for the first time. But so often the magic is gone almost instantly, no matter how good the game is.

I want to preserve that as long as possible.

DVD is 8.5–8.7 GB, BD is 50 GB, so there's a lot more space for higher resolution and more features. I hope they used it well.

Can any BD owners let us mere mortals know?

There are two BD's of stuff you didn't get on the DVD.

I'd say it's worth it, but don't feel bad if you can't see it. Maybe you can lend/rent it and find a friend with a blu-ray player
