It seemed to me that there was supposed to be a little more fan content included with the Blu-Ray+DVD version that wasn't in the DVD only version, so my question is, is there? The menu for the DVD is very basic, only Play, Set-Up and Scenes.

Also, use this thread to discuss difference in the theatrical and home versions of the film. I'll start it out by saying that I noticed that some of the uncaptioned phrases Tsu'tey says at the ikran rookery appear to now be captioned, but not all of them.

There were two versions of the movie in theaters (at least that I saw).  The difference was a caption or two either being there or not.

As for the fan content, the blu-ray/dvd combo (at least, dunno about the straight DVD) comes with a key that you can use to unlock some fan material on the internet.  There are no extras at all included on either the blu-ray or dvd for the actual movie.

Yea, I got the key to unlock the content, I just wondered if the Blu-ray is a little more than bare-bones movie only like the DVD is.

Well, i was wandering that myself, because when i placed my avatar pre-order i was asked for the regular edition or the extended edition. So i wander if they were accepting pre-orders for the upcoming extended edition at the end of the year?

In any case, it threw me off a bit for a minute. My regular DVD's menu is literally a play, scenes and setup screen and that's it. I'm not sure if i'm wanting to get a blu-ray player with all the difficulties blu-ray is having right now.
See that shadow? It's the last one you're gonna see.

I assume he's referring to the fact that some people are confused about the notion of having to update their player which, due to laziness on their part or poor documentation on the manufacturer's, they have no idea how to do.

About that... Where is the key, exactly? I can't seem to find mine. I have the DVD + Blu-ray steelbox.

Edit: Nevermind. I found a picture of what it's supposed to look like, and it turns out my copy doesn't have one. Bummer.

Wow, maybe you should go back there and ask what it costs for the extended edition pre-order.
