What about a true Pandora!?

Recently I got a realy good idea of project on a "game" for avatar
It would be fun to have not a game of avatar but only put on a "vitual helmet" and be on pandora and do what you want
not a game like you have to do quest and all the things but only like the real live ( you do what you want when you want where you want )

So that's basicly what i imagined and i thought it was a good idea to post it on that forum because we are probably all fans of avatar 

I would like to know what your thinking about that

Actualy when u see how far we are going in technology i think it could be a realist project 
I know it would be a lot more awesome if we could be on the real Pandora an realy live like the Na'vi but i think that would be a start

Sure, it's not Impossible.

But it'd cost way too much cash for a normal customer to afford it. And I'm sure, if anyone ever invented that helmet. They wouldn't use it just for a virtual walk around of Pandora.
It'd probably be a new-gen game thing.  On the other side, it would be a fantastic experience that alot of people on this forum would go for easily. It's just the matter of accessability and doability.

This concept/idea was already thought/shown in a TV series in Israel a few years ago, was quite fun to watch it!
Now, is it possible in reality? probably. How close are we to achieve it? that I don't know.

its not a virtual thing but its kind of amazing

I was thinking to make a thread like this too.
here's what i have to add to what it could have-
1.it should show graphics very advanced and fast,with help from several CPUs that are hooked up together.
2.it should be as realistic as possible,preberally a weather generator,a creature spawner,excellent pyshics,textures,air/water particle system,life-like models and buildings,and na'vi that actually talk.(like copies of cleverbot it-self)
3.a module that controls the avatar-avatar(i made that up) in the simulator(maybe a hamster ball cage module that makes the user walk endlessly,so it won't take up a lot of space and with gyroscopic mechanisms.
4.a elements system,to go along with the module,so it can simulate the wind,light,terrain,maybe water,and other things.
5.some sort of netowork of machines that make the player determine things that are solid or just air(in other words,another system that makes the players wolrld feel,again,very real with the sense of touch.
6.something that can make the player interact with the simulator world,like shovelling dirt,or provoking a nantang.
7.it shouldn't be too big,or it just can't be possible.
8.the flora,textures and terrain should all be photo-realistic to make it the best,to simulate a "living" world
that is all i hope...

update:there is sort-of a pandora simulator made already,but it only good for space simulations

I was thinking something similar the other day but with laser tag, with augmented reality you could have textures for the "arena" and the guns and have ammo, ect.
But mesa tinking yousa havin betta toughts than mesa. An augmented reality with a Pandora theme would be AWESOME! Not to mention a cool way to tell everyone that you are an Avatar fanatic when they see you walking down the street with a helmet on your head.
We should take the idea to Japan, they'll be able to do it. If they can make a self repairing chair, than they can do anything. 
It'll be alright as long as we don't need too much Unobtainium.
