I've seen it so much times in theatre that I think I deserve to have a nice internet copy while waiting for the 3D blue ray. I still prefer to read the script though! So much stuff that didn't made it to the final release ;D

Can you put a normal DVD option up there for us poor folks?

So you're telling me I have to buy a Blu-ray disc player and the movie . . . and then the extended edition a few months down the line . . . and then a 3D television and 3D version some time next year (and then the extended 3D edition?). Oh god, my wallet!

No, we're telling you that you have to buy a Blu-ray disc player and the movie... and then the extended edition a few months down the line... and then a 3D television and 3D version some time next year (and then the extended 3D edition?)... and then realize that your blue ray player doesn't do 3D so you need a new one. ;D

First, it is really not cool to include the winking piracy option, even with the note.  It is even less cool to come up with excuses justifying it on the thread.

Second, this poll is clearly defective and biased — there is no "practice the banjo" option.

I wonder how much people would vote for that  ;D

How about I just email James Cameron my bank account PIN and credit card info?

That could work... An other thing you could do is building an IMAX theatre and get yourself a copy of Avatar to look at while you're not showing anything else ;)

I will continue to try learning more Na'vi till the 3d extended blue ray is released and when a 3d DLP projector is released (Failing that, getting a 3d tv)

Fox said that they might rerelease Avatar in late summer for 3-d theaters (possibly with the cut scenes in). It's only a maybe though.

That may take quiet a while - you should have become proficient in Na'vi by then ;D

Well, if you have a Playstation 3 console, you already have a bluray player.

I think there will be cheaper solutions for home 3d. You can buy 3d monitors for 300-400 today that work with FPS games, and when blu-ray will be available it will be a matter of hours or days to write a driver to play it on PC. quality should be comparable to current DVDs.
So... the cost of upgrade for basic 3d is 600-700.
