and when Quaritch runs outside to shoot at Trudy's sampson.  That he doesn't give up and go back inside after he discards the automatic weapon grates on my nerves.  Everytime I watch it I'm thinking, "Faint already!"
The first few times I watched it I thought the same thing.  Then I tried holding my breath during the scene and found its really easy to hold it past where Quaritch does.
How about holding it that long when you're riled up and shooting a gun? ;)

But I dislike that scene because it makes Quaritch look a bit too badass. The guy's still human, even if he's got a heart of steel. :P

yeah but this is quaritch....... nit even a very angry Neytiri and a equally angry Palulukan can kill him.... let alone a little time of no non toxic air supply... :P
Sherlock Holmes: [handcuffed to John] Take my hand!
John Watson: Now people will definitely talk.

Quaritch is/was an awesome bad guy. I'm glad Stephen Lang is booked for Avatar 2, can't wait to see how he comes back. :D

Stranger Come Knocking

My least favorite scene would have to be the six-month fly-by when he's just narrating and you only get clips of some of the things he's learning.  I mean, obviously it can't be a six hour movie, but I wish that either there could have been a tad more elaboration or a lot more emotion. >.< So very...monotone...I think I would be super freaking out if I was learning to be part of the tribe (as opposed to being killed or Palulukan Chow).  And Jake should have been really happy he's being taught by Neytiri. :D

Dalva

My least favourite scene... To be honest I can't think of any :D
But I do notice now a year after the movie came out the CGI seems to be less realistic somehow... Or maybe that's just me watching too much that I'm actually get used to it :p
But I still say that Avatar is the best, most realistic CGI ever

Working out while holding my breath to simulate it.  Harder but still possible. :D And I agree he does look inhuman in that scene, I know my aim wouldn't be good enough to hit anything.

I agree, a bit more elaboration about Jake's learning process would have been great. :) However, like you said, I believe it would have probably been a "bad" idea to include more scenes in a practical point of view, since the theatrical version is already pretty long. Indeed, I think most people (other than big fans) would prefer a certain lack of explanation or details over a very long movie. ;)

I just wish they showed the party scene. I wanted to see Jake dance.

I just don't like the scene when the bulldozers destroy knock down all the trees. It's not the quality of the scene, or the content or anything. It's vital to the story and does it's job as exceedingly well as the rest of the movie.

I've come the the realization that I don't like the "color" of the scene. It's just to yellow. All the other scenes are as shade of either blue, or green, even a bit of red. Guess I just don't like yellow.

i have finally made my homemade anaglyph glasses, using cyan filter and red permanent marker (cant find any good red filter) and watched it in 3D for the first time.  :D

Maybe they started to relieve the stress of boring college classes and now they just can't quit.  ::)

I honestly think they shouldn't of done any of the deleted scenes into the movie. not saying i didnt like them, i did, but the felt....gritty. they looked like they were hastily done so they could cram them into the original movie.

Well, that's because almost all the deleted scenes were never given proper polish. I would have loved to see Selfridge go around firing everybody and I would have like to see the other Avatars do their attack too.

Selfridge fired people?! I wish they put that in there.

The scene is hilarious AND does a ton to show the true character that Selfridge is.

Why was he firing people? It's not like they can go home.
