"Please don't tell me that someone will develop a Na'vi-Klingon dictionary"

I mean, how awesome would that be?

Nìwotxkrr Tìyawn

Only thing better would be a Na'vi to Klingon to Elvish dictionary.

Somewhat final grammar on Na'vi, Maybe some vocab, and a blessing from Fox and Paramount would be nice.

There are in fact two "Elvish" languages: Quenya and Sindarin. They were developed by Professor JRR Tolkien and are found in his Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, The Return of the King). I can think of no better introduction to the languages than to read those books.

If we do develop a "multilingual" dictionary, I would ask that you all consider including Lojban as well.

Swokéyan

Hmm i only knew about Quenya :P what are the differences?

Why just not make a Fictional Language Dictionary? That would be sweet. Although you don't see many people speaking either dialect of elvish. Lojban has a huge community base, but it can't be put into a multi-lingual dictionary. It just doesn't work.

Developing a dictionary Klingon<->Na'vi is easier than you might think. If anybody is seriously interested in doing that and can speak Klingon fluently he can contact me.

Well, if you like to I could give you access to the Eana Eltu Translation System which would allow you to translate Taronyu's dictionary to... well, Klingon. I think I have to ask him first since that would be kinda special.

And keep us updated! ^^ I only know a few words of Klingon and it would be awesome to learn it through Na'vi, haha

He gave you green light although he would prefer Na'vi<->Elvish. (hinthint). If somebody is interested translating his dictionary to Klingon, PM me.

Now would this be Qenya or Sindarin?

:D

Nyx

I vote Sindarin ^^ but hey, with enough time, we can get around to both ;D
