This is gonna get ugly if everyone turns on the humans :D

Sounds like good quality entertainment.  Fan film anybody?

That would be filming a 24 hour killing of humans, which is really not good.

Humans aren't that bad, we don't deserve such action.

That would be an awsome film.

The humans would be all dressed like red shirts from Star Trek TOS.

Hahaha yeah, imagine the look on the trekkies' faces when the redshirts don't survive XD. Or is that a way to give the humans a chance? They should definitely have a chance so that it isn't just a full out slaughter, also, we need a plot. But I would definitely like to film that ;D

This film idea is awesome. We should suggest it to some movie making firm.
Na'viti ayngal nume, ayskxawng!
Learn your Na'vi, morons!

I apologize in advance for my grammar.

This non-to-non speaking language learning sounds kinda non possible, because you must know Klingon AND Na'vi ~fluent.
I would realy freak out if it happend!

For those that have Windows Vista or later, i got great news -> Windows sidebar gadget with Eng - Na'vi word outputter.

I think we all would.

translating from one non-spoken language to another, oh boy.

The linguists who've worked with Klingon estimate that there are between twenty and thirty speakers.

Those are some concrete numbers.

I'm sure everyone knows what Spanglish is (combination of English and Spanish), well what I think waht we need is everyone to learn Kling'vi or Na'ngon.

hey all, I'm trying to design a Valentine in Klingon. Oh, and I recently interviewed Paul Frommer for my blog. there are a few new Na'vi phrases in here. http://www.lemondrop.com/2010/01/26/avatar-pick-up-lines-talk-dirty-in-Navi/#c25030339

But, wondering, does anyone know any Klingon expressions related to love that would be funny/Valentine appropriate?

Like, I Love you. Beam me up, my beloved. something more clever than that?

Nyx

XD why would you need anything else but "beam me up, my beloved"?

But no, I don't know any Klingon at all, I'm just here because the idea of mixing non-spoken languages intrigues me (and makes me laugh), I would definitely like to mess with people with the Kling'vi/Na'ngon suggestion :D

"lIjvaD jach 'IwwIj"

"HIchop, bangwI'wIj"
-Bite me, my lover.

That should be bangwI' my love. -wIj is the suffix for things that CAN'T speak. It's an insult to use it to refer to a person.
Also, bang is not a verb. It's a noun. "Lover" would be muSHa'wI'.

That's SoHvaD for you. -lIj is the 2nd person singular possessive for things and beings not capable of language.

As for "Beam me up, my beloved": HIjol bangwI'!

Does that mean [lIjtaH] would not be acceptable after all?

Thanks. I find it funny that there doesn't seem to be a verb for "to love" that does not rely on a rover. Love seems to be pretty important to Klingon society. 8/

It's entirely acceptable: lIj forget + -taH (continuous)

Regarding "lover", we have parmaqqay romantic partner.
