Indeed, but i hope we wont end up in a dangerous jungle where we can get devoured by bugs or mammals every milisecond of the day :P

Generally, I think we'll have to worry more about being bitten by a myriad of poisonous creatures than being eaten or chased by ferocious carnivores. =)

Help preserve Nature.

I hae an idea for the fresh water problem.  There arre tribes in Africa's mountainous regions that hang cloth up in the damp air and as the wind pushes the air into the cloth, it will collect the water andthe water will drip down the cloth and so all we need is something to catch the water.

In regards to location if we do chose a wet/dry area then we will have to worry about the weather.  If we choose a wet tropical area we will need people who know how to survive in that climate and we will need a really good medical staff that is trained in how to counteract poisons and diseases.

also med Europe is very crowded and the locals may make a fuss about us living the na'vi way.  It  isn't the most stable area in the world especially recently.  We would also have to worry about food there if we hunt for it and with the small countries we will probably have problems with the government descrimnating us.

med Europe is more than just countries like greece. there is Italy, parts of France, Spain, Cyprus, Sicily, Malta, the Greek islands, turkey(yes its in Europe and Asia) and if we keep away from populated areas the locals shouldn't make too much of a fuss cause there wont be any XD

Y do u have such a bad view of us Europeans, The American government has hugely strict rules about hunting (whilst in some European countries they are very lax), and the American media will discriminate against us as much as a government (and that can have worse consequences). Also getting a green card for the US can be very difficult, especially if you have a criminal record (even for small stupid things you did years ago). Which is why I (and some others) think that moving to a totally new continent would be good

new lifestyle, new continent, new start.

Hi everyone, new around here in terms of the real-life na'vi tribe (hardly new on the boards, although I don't write much). I was doing some random searching on the net for land for sale, and found this piece of land in New Zealand which was truly beautiful in my opinion.

You can find the lot here: http://www.landwatch.com/Coromandel-NZL-New-Zealand-Land-for-sale/pid/118089759

It is 50 acres of land which measures up to approximately 202 300 sq. metres (if I got my math right). While somewhat small, it apparently has both fish and "game" (animals for hunt), as well as about 15 acres of grassland where you can graze livestock.

And with Auckland (NZ's largest City) not TOO far away (in case of medical emergency), while still being "out in the wild" from what I understand it, such a location could be considered ideal.

EDIT: While I do understand it's currently more about which part of the world, I'm just wondering if this is the kind of stuff we should be looking for or if you only want heavy forest areas or similar.

This is definitely something to look into, I for one would like to know if there is more land for sale in the area surrounding the plot that we could also purchase and expand into as 50 acres may not be enough depending on how many people we end up having to sustain. This does look very promising however. I will have a look into this right now actually. Karma for you ma 'eylan ;D

EDIT: Have contacted the agent requesting information about land adjoining the plot :)
Anyone feel free to add me on msn or skype: [email protected]

Getting those funds will be a daunting task in itself. At any rate, good to see something came out of the quick research, maybe this can make people speed up location discussion a bit ;P

Did I see the right price for that land?  $425,000?  Thats about the same price for a big house in the rich district near where I live.   :o
