I think a native speaker's language would be a lot better than anyone among us could learn

I would hope that we get people from all over ^_^ Na'vi could be the only common tongue! That would be pretty sweet.

If you judge by the dialect, I was unable to speak my native language ;D

I speak pretty fluent Spanish (5 years) and I'm taking it the next two years as well, so it's not like I'd be amazing but I could probably understand enough to hold a conversation with them.  Although I'm hoping Na'Vi becomes my main language learning focus :)

I just looked around with Google Earth, and ...
The only suitable area seems to be the Amazon Basin of Brasilia. But if just one little bulldozer approaches nearer than 200 miles ...... ;D

There is still large empty areas of Brazil and peru near rivers and mountains that are not even close to being touched by bulldozers

I like it! It will be a little difficult for people to come and go, but we'll manage ^_^ We just need to make sure it's safe for all involved.

You need to be careful with the Amazon, you need to be really prepared and know what your getting into...and how to get out. we need to make sure we are close enough to somewhere we can get medical help, and make sure the rivers don't contain toxins.

No, there are definitely many other places that aren't as dangerous.

I'd like to go somewhere that doesn't have a combination of water & land predators. Especially since we are noobs at surviving (most of us, anyway).

Somewhere in the mountains would be a lot less dangerous and a lot easier to get to.
