Hmm, then you must be doing something wrong. My friend custom builds his own computers, and he has a super-gaming computer for $2000. He hasn't had to repair it at all for four years. Kind of the same thing with mine. I've had my computer for ~6 years, and it's only recently needed to be repaired, and that was because of a virus.

Also, how the heck do you upgrade a Mac? You need to buy a new computer to get better performance.

Someone kept telling me that I could upgrade my computer by buying a $200 processor. Plus, how would you get better preformance without buying a new computer?

If he didn't needed to upgrade his computer in 4 years, I'm pretty sure it's not a "super-gamming" computer anymore. And by the way, a 2k$ computer for gaming? Tell me you're joking! Do you realize that with the cost of up-to-date softwares, that's not even 800$ for the hardware!

That's easy, everything you can customize when you buy it can be installed at a later date. Just as any other PC. It's roughly the same hardware anyway. I'm planning on putting a GTX 480 in my Mac Pro as soon as it get out and the fact that it's a Mac doesn't change anything.

Actually, I am joking. He did it for $1200, sorry. Got my numbers mixed up. That was four years ago, he never had any problem with it. Just recently, he made another one that cost the same amount with insane hardware. He had to get a server case to hold it all.

Oh well. That still doesn't change the fact that the delete button doesn't delete files on a Mac. WORST. THING. EVER.

Also, I find that the Mac has really obscure key combinations to do things. Like, printscreen is Alt->Option->8 or something. WTREAC is that about? On Windows it's just "the printscreen button".

I find that the little things about Macs annoy me far more than the big stuff.

Yeah I know what you mean. Actually, I don't mind about those shortcuts anymore but one of them. Why does return rename a file instead of opening it. That's the only one that totally doesn't make sense.

Note: The delete key does delete files. It's that forward delete that doesn't. That's because the backspace is called delete on Mac keyboards ;)

I think the actually shortcut is cmd+delete so that you just don't trash anything accidentally.

See what I mean? Unnecessary complexity.

That's not unnesseary complexity! That's safety, there's nothing wrong with that. You have no idea how often I pressed the delete key instead of the home key on my ASUS laptop because they are just aside one and the other.

1. I never do that.

2. On windows, it asks if you want to confirm the delete. So, no issues. :D

3. ???

4. Profit

But seriously, Windows removes that problem just by putting a confirm box. And, if you for some reason press "yes" by accident, then just fish it out of the trash. It's not that hard.

Yeah I know but see, from a Mac user point of view, a message box is unnessesary complexity.

It's just an other way of solving the issue, which I happen to prefer as a power user.

There's no video yet, but there's an article in Game Informer. I'll try and see if there's a leaked version online.

Here's the GameInformer Portal 2 page, I have yet to find the actual article.

Heh, being me and having nothing more than a PS2 and busted PSP, I don't really have anything to rave about. But I found what I could be doing:
