Though communication between the two seems off. [tribe/ecovillage] Though we should be accustomed to the land to make it a 5 minute run.

Communication between the two seems off? When did that happen? I don't want to abandon oeyä ma smuk in the village :o. Sorry. Haven't kept up with progress on these subjects, been busy. Oe tsap'alute.

Well, me being off randomly isn't helping. Ignore that statement.

I also agree with selfmade clothing  :P but i have no idea of how to do that...
We do need a little protection so insects cant eat us.. and how about ticks? They can jump on you, and leech your blood, you have to remove them carefully, else they might spread a poison in your body and causes it to get really tired or maybe paralyzed  :-[

you only get limes disease if you leave the head of the tic in when you pull it out (which btw is twist left and pull up if you didnt know) and most tics you dont notice until tehy have been on for about a week.

Thanks my grandpa taught me that a while ago.
But im still worried about it, like when you leave a tic sitting on your skin it also might fall of after like 2 weeks and then infect you with some poison  :P i just wish insects didnt exist..

not all insects surely! ants are great and quite intelligent for insects. A nice quote from lewis thomas sums it up well - "Ants are so much like human beings as to be an embarrassment. They farm fungi, raise aphids as livestock, launch armies into wars, use chemical sprays to alarm and confuse enemies, capture slaves. The families of weaver ants engage in child labor, holding their larvae like shuttles to spin out the thread that sews the leaves together for their fungus gardens. They exchange information ceaselessly. They do everything but watch television."

yeah that's one thing that only humans and some primates seem to get, "a personal space bubble". To all other animals it just doesn't exist! especially to dogs. For example, as I type this now my aunt's dog Meg is currently jumping right into my face and messing with my hair!

IDK, I know a few humans who do NOT understand the concept of the "bubble"...

I think we should get back on topic now, and anyway we're not gonna be having much of a bubble in tribe :)

I am sorry for this, but as a part of a recent campaign to try and bring this Board into a more focused and productive state, I am locking this thread. Please discuss the Location of the Tribe instead- much more important right now ^_^;; Once a location is decided, then we can move on to something like this.

Locked.
