I believe you are forgetting the Tarrasque you are also fighting against, according to its description in the Monster Manual, it has enough regenerative powers to die, and 5 seconds later heal enough to come back to life. It may not have as awesome (or as many) weapons as you, but you can't exactly kill it.

well how can i fight without my trusted sword and other...various weapons?   ::)

besides how can i die in shame when i wasn't even a part of the fight to begin with?  i was just an innocent bystander then all this breaks out XD.  *tail twitches in amusement*

awwwww what the hell... *grabs all her weapons, armor, get's back on her palulukan, calls her Ikran and comes back in*

Sorry, but the Tarrasque heals from its largest remaining particle and thus respawns (in space), so it isn't dead.
