Working from the outside / Administration team
« on: January 01, 2011, 12:35:38 pm »
Owkey, short intro... Real name: Jordan, Helena Cansington. Nic: Katie Miller. Age: soon 22.This is the basic stuff. Now to the idea. I am not really ready to able to join totally but I can help you all in building this and there will be in need of a Administration team that can build the clan from the outside. Copying the text o wich I wrote in another thread.

I think that I understand this project for full now. This is not a LARP-thing or schizofrenic dream fasade. People here are reality checked and they are fine. I shall put down the conosiderations for this and let each one of you take responsebility for your own actions in this gigantic step towards a new life. I've been studying a lot about the brain and our history in psychology. I've been working with teens and survival groups with young adventure teams and I know that changing you life in that type of drastic way can also give you everything from traumas to a better healthier lifestyle. This is all individual. I think that I could be a lot of a help on this long trip. With my head in the books, still studying medicine, I can at least be much of a help.

I've come to the conclutions that this is all about holding on to a lifestyle of something beautiful, something so fragile that only a swosh of a butterfly wing can make less harm, but yet so strong that nothing can come between the connection through the people in the clans and the nature and its animals. I might sound drasty but this is the best way to explain it all. I would love to be a part of this but I would love to be the link to the modern society in the same way. Like a rock to lean against if you need any help, that comes from back home, in knowlidge form or contacts. I bet there are already people doing this but any help is good help. :-)

Well I will ofcourse stop you there. I did not call anyone crazy, I was looking at it with sceptical eyes wich is important when you are engaging your self in things like this. Calling your self sane is the most crazy thing you can do. At least I admit my self of being a little crazy ^^ Anyway, new perspective thanks to very good explaining from you guys. So I have to sign up somewhere or write an apoication form for this mission or how does it work?

I have NOT said that I will never join the place.I will just not live there forever, not now. If I come there, I would be working more as a link back to the real world. I will one of them who stabalizes the situation from here. Ofcourse I will come visit and check out the situation but a administrating source is needed. Example on things where I could be of any help:

* Post - Receving post from family and friends and making sure that the post is also reaceved back.
* Health (ment/phys) - I can ofcourse administrate some kind of medical base (with educated staff that is evolved with this) in case anything happends. Preventing service is a part of tha clan safety.
* New members - there has to be people staying here to administrate the traveling and aplications for the new people willing to join this.

This is just examples of what needs to be done from the outside. This team will work as a FRIENDLY RDA group.. if i shall put the simple and neardy lable on it.

So what are you saying? Love to ball ideas :)

As I say to everyone, we are always grateful for help! ;D
At the moment the main problem is finding a location, which is taking a long time, as we aren't at all organised and members often don't have much time. We also have lots of people that join and leave without staying for long, so organisation is really hard. Any help with that side of things might speed things up.
Also, if you can be with the group when we actually start-up, your medical knowledge could be very useful. We're short on specialist knowledge, I think. :-\

One thing, I don't want to sound insulting, but some of your posts haven't been very easy to understand. I realise English probably isn't your first language, but can you try to avoid any typing errors or things that might make it difficult to work out your meaning. Sorry :-[

Okey amazingly thanks for the amazing supporrt. I would love to be working with the administration. I would love to in a professional way, make up a plan and application form for the ones applying. This is a huge step to take and we need to be certain in every case. That is why I need some more feed back about putting me in the administration group or planning group when it comes to this. :)

Medical health care is always importent my friend and everyone with knlowlidge about it are welcome :)

Still with us?

I agree with everything you said. We definitely need a solid contact on the outside and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have than you. Sometimes I think you understand us better than we do.

To confirm, the administration team would be the ones in charge of the technology centre, I assume. The team would also include offsite members who can maintain contact in civilisation - this could even be a part time thing.
Phew, lots to think about. Yes, much like a friendly RDA, a link between us and the modern world!

More like our own Dr. Augustine than a true RDA person  ;D

What are the actual functions we'll need from outside the tribe? Are we still planning on having a computer in the tribe? If so, all website and forum related thing (such as recruiting, ect) could be done directly from the tribe.

Most messages can be sent via e-mail but we would need someone to handle actual packages. And as we seem to be short our local EMT at the moment, we definitely need someone who can handle medicine, ect.
