For only shooting for about 3-4 hours, back around father's day, I'd say I'm decent. I managed to hit the target a fair number of times, considering it was my first and only time shooting a bow, using a recurve bow that belongs to one of my uncles.

If I could ever remember to get a hold of one of my cousins, I'd probably be able to get more shooting in. But I never seem to remember until late at night. So I'm looking at Labor Day Weekend (Beginning of September) being my next opportunity to shoot.

My brother has a recurve bow that has a 20 pound pull, but he has only 5 or 6 arrows.
So it's hard to practice. :(
I'm not hunting in the tribe but I want a basic understanding of how to shoot a bow.

Shooting a bow is 'easy'. I'm right handed, but I shoot left-handed, and have decent aim. I need to work on accuracy, because I miss something ~the size of a deer from 30ft away by about 1ft. But hey, wind changes.
