Oh yeah, I'm not "dissing" the Na'Vi at all! xD I'm not exactly going to put down a group I'm in, I just wanted to make the point that -we- can't laugh at the Jedi when we are just as " bad" as them. Aka, both Jedi and Na'Vi are laughable to the general publics eye- same with furries really :(

Laughable we may be, they will not be laughing when we save their lives.
There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.

I don't know about "laughing." Maybe smirking.

Actually in one of the books I was reading about Reiki, (I can give you all more info on that if you don't know what it is other than an energy healing technique) it stated that the Universal Life Force energy that we Reiki healers use to do our healing has many names: God, the Buddha, the Force. In my meditations I have had many interesting thoughts and visions about the Force, and my premonitions and animal affinity can only be explained as the Force working through me.
To live in the past is to die in the present.

Yes, yes! Anything is possible through The Force!

There is no death, there is the Force.

um the buddha is not a suppernatural thing nor god

the force is qi,prana, vital energy, cosmic energy, some say it is dark energy (physics) and can be thought as a god but not by most people

"This is a fact." It is not a conscious entity, but it helps some people understand it better if they think it is.

Why do you keep putting quotes around "This is a fact."?

Excuse me but to whom are you talking? That was QUITE offensive! And ignorant as well. Read the book before you go odd half cocked. God is still a supernatural "energy" if you will since no one can say they have seen him/her walking in a physical body. Buddha is not god, no, but people pray to saints and they're not gods, are they? I do not like your tone. The Force is universal lifeFORCE energy, such as I use in Reiki.

WOW  such ignorance

A. the force is not god
b. buddha is not a suppernatural thing nor god

the force is qi,prana, vital energy, cosmic energy, some say it is dark energy (physics) but it is not a god

This is a warning. Txon Taronyu, the way you phrased your post was extremely offensive and I want you to apologize. And I know you had good reason, Tsamsiyu Atsteu, but your statement was a bit harsh as well, I would like you to apologize as well. Not to me, mind you, but to each other.

Please try and keep this more civil, or I will be forced to lock this thread, something I really don't want to do ^_^

Oops I let my tounge slip out again sorry

Ok sorry the force can be thought as god so I am sorry for saying that since that was not true. Also I often forget that some people belive in the living force (the force is more like a god)

again I am sorry

Many sides to the Force, there are. The Unifying and the Living. Both combine to be the Force that we tap into. God/Goddess is a higher power, like the Force, and many can and do equate them as similar. I too am sorry for my own rashness, perhaps it can serve to remind all of use the importance of stopping to think before speaking.

Thank you, Txon, for being humble enough to admit your mistakes and learn from them. The Force is with you, ma tsmukan. I have a temper, so I am sorry for my actions as well.

Probably because when we get upset we tend to hit the 'send' button faster and our actions take less time to manifest. I have the same issue. Try meditating rather than even replying. I used to work in retail and had customers that would make me so angry, or be so mean I would cry. I stopped reacting to them and instead would take a 15 minute meditation break when upset. It became such that my boss asked me how I was able to "zen out" like that and said my temper was much improved. I urge you to try this next time you feel upset, and I will be more mindful of my own thoughts.
