As in much over 80 degrees. I can barely stand upper 90s, as I tend to overheat and become almost dead-like. If it's drier (similar to Arizona), I can stand up to approximately 100 degrees decently. But if it's damp then lower 90s is like, the limit. Or else there will be a corpse to bury.

I'd love to live in venezuela , the landscape is just the beauty of nature itself , it looks like paradise and pandora in one , I don't know how the weather is but you can walk around in t shirts at every time in the year .

New Zealand would be great too (that's where avatar was made  ;D) .

Maybe we could a a few square kilometres of the amazon and create our own civilization there .

Actually I'd live in pretty much every tropical place , but I have to feel a special link to such a place to live there , but pandora would still be destination #1 .
I wanted you to know
I love the way you laugh
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain away
I keep your photograph
I know it serves me well
I wanna hold you high and steal your pain

'cause i'm broken,
when i'm lonesome
and i don't feel right
when you're gone away

If anyone has any questions about parkour or freerunning, I have been training for almost three years now, so you can ask me ;).
Failure is the mother of success.
Soon, we will no longer be the leaves on the wind, but the wind itself.
You don't have to be a scholar to be a leader.
Join the real life Na'vi tribe here  (And yes, it will be a real tribe in the real world, NOT a role play tribe!)

We should start making serious plans after Avatar 3 comes out, so we know we have the final version of the language.

If I can get my hands on one, I'll start practicing with a bow, also, actually working out :O

The hardest part will be finding where to go, and constructing the basic beliefs of our tribe. I mean, we can't teach true Na'vi beliefs, since we aren't on Pandora, and we don't have queues.

Also, we have the issue of family and friends. I mean, what would your parents say if you tell them "I'm going to go live in the forest with other people I only know online, and we're going to make a tribe. So, I'll never talk to you again. Bye!"

For interaction with friends/peers/family, we could have a mailbox system of sorts where they could send us letters and such. And it may be a good idea to apply a little modern technology in the place of the interconnection between the Na'vi and their surroundings. Computers, internet maybe (to keep up with avatar news, and this forum), a TV (to watch the movie if so desired). Complete isolation may not be the greatest idea, as there are unknowns in the case of if we need medical assistance, if we need toiletries, materials, et cetera.

Txontaw

Yeah, I don't think we'd need access to this forum, or watch the movie (we're living it). But a mailbox system would be good, and perhaps have a car somewhere, just in case.

And if we're going to teach the ay'eveng English, make it their second language, not their first. Then we'd get some wicked Na'vi accents.

We may need materials in the beginning during the setup of our home, so some sort of access would be good at least in the beginning, we could cut it off later on.

I agree.  I would love to live in a rainforest.  Please, lets all play lotto [those old enough] and lets win, and buy a big chunk.  That would be amazing.  Or an island.  Prefer middle of the rainforest, all secluded.  I want that so bad.  Please, I'm going to start playing once a week.  If I win, lets make this happen, k? :D

maybe we can bribe Frommer too... hum.

Oh, oh, yes.  Agreed.  Some wicked sexy Na'vi accents.

Yeah, though we want to keep, for the most part, away from the aytawtute. It could corrupt the ay'eveng.

I still think that four years from now is the ideal time to start. I turn 15 in a month, so by then I'd be 19, and free from parents. It would also let anybody else underage catch up. Plus, four years is more than enough time to learn Na'vi so well you can switch naturally from English to it any time you want. Plus, the language would be complete by then, because both other movies would be out by then.

I'd like either the redwood forests of California, an island in the carribean, or a village in the amazon. Somewhere warm though. Summer needs to get here damned fast

We don't want somewhere too dangerous, but we want to be able to hunt for our food, which means it can't be somewhere people go too much. There really isn't that many places left. Amazon is right out too dangerous for city folk trying to go tribal.

The redwoods are in Northern California, far too cold to run around half naked.

I vote for a Southeast Asian island - giant plants, amazing wildlife, wicked awesome native tribes...

I would think somewhere in the southern half of the US would be good, and 4 years is good (I'm 15 right now). I think planning should begin soon as to where we would go and how we would set it up. Also, how are we to accumulate money to pay for the land (and hunting licenses)? Better start soon, as that kind of money takes a lot of time to accumulate. Also, how many people would be in this community? A rough count is necessary to determine how much land we need.

Sngä'i Tìrey-yä

But there's no awesomely big trees in the Southern US... and most places still get snow.

Nah, we need to head out of the US for this one, something along the equator would be ideal for good year-round warm temperatures.

Maybe we could sneak onto the Galapagos. And if we remain undiscovered long enough, we could make everybody think that we're this ancient tribe that no one knows about. That speaks a fictional language made for a sci-fi fantasy??

That would be funny.

I know its me and my daughter, at least, maybe her father, but he'll be in the marines, and he's kinda not very nice.  But I felt I should include him.  Also, one of my male friends is considering this as well.

As for location: Somewhere warm, with minimal clothes necessary is a plus.  And what's wrong with crazy wildlife?  I think an island would be good, but we also have to worry about weather and also the size.  Islands are expensive, and we might be or become a large group. We must consider this carefully.

It'll be interesting if we actually have the gumption to pull this off. If we do decide to get serious(-ly serious), however, I'm all for it.

But this won't just be a pick a place and go there. We'll need to do a ton of research, both on Na'vi language and culture, and on good earth places to settle.

You have to take in a bunch of factors; disease, food (fruit & animal), temperature, etc.
