As many of you know I and my wife do desire to take part in this, well the Eco-village as we both will admit we are getting on in years. If I recall the start time of most of this true get together permently that will place me in my early 60's when it starts. Money is not the issue if it keeps me from joining you I have always lived my life by one code, what is my Lords will. Trust me I have been meditating and praying on this very topic its a great mission field and new step in my family life but be assured first that I and Mrs Q will do first what we beleive is the will of our Lord and savior. Which at this time is looking good still for joining you all I want to very much. Even though I have yet to hear those words of GO I have been in state of planning of how best to serve everyone once there. It was suggested by someone far smarter than me (Mrs Q.) that the church be built not large enough to support those that want to come an worship and learn more of the Lord but as well the whole villiage and tribe. As in the early years of America it wasnt uncommon that the church was their court house, town meeting hall, and depending theater as well. So with that in mind we been researching eco friendly structures that could fit this bill. Oh still not all here still recovering as you know so let me take this time to say if I have offended anyone in this real life group with my views I am sorry not my intention to offend but simply to share my views and I know I am very stubborn at times. But I'm here now to say that taking the mantle as your spirital leader for any that have questions about the Lord here or when the villiage and tribe start, please pm us.

Your servant in Christ,

James & Katie aka Coloenl Quarithch and Mrs Q

Sounds like a worthwhile endeavor and I am hoping that you can come up with something that has been of some debate which would be the layout. If you could knock out two or three birds with one stone by church/ town hall/ and court house etc., that would be great.

Mrs. Q

If we take this project seriously, and with care, I think we can all contribute to a wonderful new life. We need to take some very real and serious lessons from those who have gone before. Starting such an endeavor without proper preparation and care will only lead us into a disaster. We all need to put forth ideas for this village. We all need to research and look for materials, people and eco-friendly processes to help us sustain ourselves. We need to decide on a place where we agree to build this village. I presume it should be near forest as well, as it seems there are several who want to be "real" Na'vi.
Col. Q's illness this week brought one topic scraeaming to the front of my consciousness. Health and the preservation thereof. What might have been a 'minor' illness became a potentially life threatening one. I am willing to use my expertise for the good of the group, but I am not a doctor, and I am not going to be able to make any diagnosis or treatment plans. That is not my expertise. We will need trained physicians, or at the very least, access to 'real world' medical care. I know that goes against the grain for some, but it is one aspect of planning that MUST be considered.
Buildings and self sustaining economy, even a family of people of like mind and heart cannot continue without people who are working together to keep each other safe and healthy. Accidents and illness happen. The key is planning and having the resources to deal with things as they come. I do not believe we can hope to succeed unless we plan together and list the strengths and weaknesses of the preparations and plans.
As I said before, I stand ready to move forward with all of you. If God leads us to be there, I will support the group to the best of my ability. For now, I pray for wisdom and forbearance.
God bless you all.
Kate Q.

Nice to finally meet you Mrs. Q. We have heard a lot of great things about you. As far as trained doctors, we should have a couple of paramedics in training that are wanting to join us as well. Someone has a heli for those major emergencies that just can't wait and I don't believe anyone will want to for go medicine after they have gotten majorly sick and experience what it is like without it. Planning for the location has turned out tougher than many may have thought, but we will get there eventually. I think it is great to have a couple of people who will be out there that will have some more life experience than most of the pre-adolescent to young adults that have joined in our want to share the Na'vi way. My hat is off to you and I hope Mr. Q feels better.
