I don't know if we have the funds for that.  :?

Kaiatéya

Yeah, I'm still for just meeting up for coffee. ;D

Why don't the Seattle-area people and the Portland-area people meet up separately some time, and if there's enough actual interest for it we can all meet up together later?

kharul_karyu

In that case, Kaiatéya... I'd might attend both!

On the Fox theater in Centralia, Eaite, I'm not being stupid, this is my income right now...

Do they accept food stamps? What are they asking?
I love to think about random stuff. I hope perhaps you do, too! :D

Eaite Randjam

Nothing's been discussed.  What you see is what I know.

I completely understand the financial burden too.  This endeavor might be better once we've been around the block a few times doing meet-ups.  Conversely, we could have everyone chip in to a general fund.

Beans, heh. Everyone knows Dinty Moore Beef Stew is the best in campfire cuisine.  ;)
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Na'vi Con sounds great...location is a problem though...Seattle seems like a good meeting place

LOL, maybe that is why I suggested it.  :-\

I keep walking into situations where, apparently, only someone whose "Clairvoyance" could have planned being put into such situations.

The "sad(?)" thing is that I usually don't know what I do. No forethought here, sorry. Maybe my personal luck is actually blind. Well, actually that makes sense.

"Blind-Luck-Clairvoyant." Can I trademark that? I need royalties.

Well, it seems like the Seattle (area) people could and would like to meet up in Seattle, and the Portland (area) people would and could meet up in Portland.  Since I don't know squat about either city y'all will have to work that out yourselves.  As for me and my loneliness over here in the middle of the desert, I suppose I could have a party of one... XD  My travel is now very limited it seems, so I won't be attending anything west of the Cascades anymore unfortunately. :-\

Oh well, I can still help planning your events!

uh?

Has a Na'vi con ever been done before?
Not by anyone I've heard yet.  We should race to see who can get a meeting of 10+ Navi learners together in one place.  Go Northwest!

Rolyu

That's what I would like to do.  We gotta be the first ones!   ^^
Though it is looking like we need to split up between Seattle and Portland

So... Seattle people?  Propose days and places??

And I'm sorry you're travel is so restricted.  What's going on there?

Eaite Randjam

I haz no car and not enough money or desire to fly.  I doubt I could convince my parents to travel just for me.... haha.

kharul_karyu

I had assumed you were over 21.  :-\

I had no idea, Eaite. I'm very sorry.  :(

And you'll be going overseas soon? What for? Why the journey?
I love to think about random stuff. I hope perhaps you do, too! :D

Rolyu

Wait, overseas?  Really?  Ting Eywatikite'e is too, in March.  (:( And she'll be gone again....)

Tìng Eywatikìte'e

Heh, sorry.

I'll be in Seattle from 12-15, so if anyone is there, let's do soemthing!

Nope, I'm just 18.  However I'm just finishing High school and I'll hopefully be moving to Portland for video game design and production learning.

Oh haha.

Count me in. Would those folks in or coming to Seattle that weekend be interested in catching Avatar in IMAX 3D at Pacific Science Center? If so, we should settle on a date and time ASAP and order tickets lest we find all the compatible shows sold out.
