A few days early

How does one say something like:

They came a few days early.

I saw someone say something like

Fo zola'u hola trr ye'krr

But that feels extremely English to me. How do other languages say stuff like this? Would this actually be correct?

I also thought about "They came early by a few days" and then other things like "They lost by six points". How would we say this? Surely it's not fa or hu or ìlä... or any other adp. I can think of.

Or: Sie kamen ein paar Tage zu früh. ... But "nìhawng" would make no sense here to me, so I'd write it the way Tirea did; fo zola'u hola trr ye'krr.

Norwegian (I think): De kom/har kommet noen dager for tidlig. ... Same result imho.

HRH... I thought that. The most European languages are Indo-European languages. More interesting would be how the Hungarian, Estonian or Finnish people would say that, because they are Finno-Ugric languages?

Hmm, English version seems weird to me (probably because my English is not too good) - I would expect They came a few days earlier -> They came before a few days
This can be translated as Fo zola'u sre a'awa trr. Gives any sense?

Problem is that with to one can't use nì'ul. And we do not have word for point too
