Irayo ma Erimeyz.

This list is really great.
Since I am using Jmemorize for learning new vocabs, I converted your vocab list to a csv file, which can be imported in Jmemorize. It is attached to this thread.

Nimun Irayo
I hope I've attached the right file, which should be a pdf. of b1's * conversationwords.csv .
Irayo Erimeyz for putting the original list together and irayo b1 for the .csv

Isn't "a" the relative pronoun, while futa "nounify" a clause.

a:
Tute a kawng lu.
Person that evil is.

futa:
Oe new futa nga ngeyä eltu ting oeru.
I want that you give your brain to me.

Futa is an accusative, so the subject needs to take the ergative.  But yes, ma tsmuk.

^Irayo, some have said not to use ergative ending when the pronoun is before a modal verb.

Ma tsamsiyu, those people are almost always right. It's just that the long form of new (using futa) is an exception. All the other modals never take an ergative.

Edited to remove lì' for speak - most certainly NOT a word.

So everyone who learned it - try and forget?

Ma ll.sxkxawng, the entire si is optional, also, the ma is required, only animals and collective nouns allow it but do not require it for the vocative.

So edit 3:

Irayo nga!

fi`u  lu  sìltsan!

Kìyevame tsmukan!

Irayo (s(<eiy>)i) ngaru

Fi'u lu sìltsan! - good. but if you want to say "was" you must use lamu

Kìyevame, ma tsmukan!

Edit 2 ;)

(brackets indicate optional sections).

As I am a beginner in the Na'vi language I really appreciate the 'Learn These First' word list. However I do notice some differences with Taronyu's Na'vi - English dictionary.
I have listed the major differences here:

po - he, she, it   ->   he, she
tsakrr - that time   ->   then, at that time
fya - way   ->   fya’o - path, way, manner
tengfya - same way   ->   as, same way as
prrte’ - pleasure   ->   pleasurable (of an activity)

It may make the adpositions more clear when '–' or '+' are added:
mì+, ta–, ne–, vay–, fa–, na–, fpi+

Also it may be useful to show the stressed syllable in the Na'vi words, like this:
oe, ayoeng, awnga, aynga, poan, poe, ayfo, lahe, ’u, lì’fya, plltxe, omum, Na’vi, Na’vi, leNa’vi, plltxeNa’vi, po, lapo, frapo, kawtu, ’awpo, ’u, tsa’u, fra’u, ke’u, ’upe, krrpe, tsakrr, frakrr, kawkrr, nulkrr, tengkrr, tsengpe, tseng, tsatseng, fya’o, fyape, fya, tengfya, ulte, zene, futa, rutxe, irayo, srane, kehe, ’aw, txan, hawng, mun, ’ul, wotx, teng, sìltsan, nìltsan, muiä, txoa, prrte’

I wish it was possible to have all of our great learning in a book form or cd. I try to copy as much as I can but it is all scattered. Our na'vi web 'olo is such a help to learn na'vi. To me it is more than a passing fancy or phase. It is a window into the way of life I want to live. It changes people.
