NEW set in the Gallery - go there.  thx, Michael

Here are 3 MS Word docs.  Text boxes lined up so words on front & back align.
You will get 16 flash cards per sheet of blank paper.
320 have been made for you - the Flash cards 3.doc file.  25 pages long.
Template pages are last 5 pages.
All text is 35% grey so the text does not show through much.
To make more, Just put in the Na'vi word in 1 frt and the English word for it in 1 back.
Have included a sample 2 page doc with words in them.
First save the doc as a template so you don't have to download it again.
Copy the two pages & paste onto the end to have as many as you want.

Small warning - do not deconstruct or change the layout unless you are pretty good with Word.
You can mess it up & have to redownload.  ALWAYS 'save as' first.

As always, improvements & constructive suggestions are expected - I'm not perfect yet.

Best way to print - print the even pages first.
Put the stack back in the printer (top of page in first) - no other turning or flipping.
Print the odd pages in reverse order.
After that, the pages will all be in perfect order.  Double sheet feeding notwithstanding.
Mnemonic - even forward, odd reverse.
This works for all publications - save a lot of paper.
Enjoy
thx

Oh dude, that's great, IRAYO!

I love this way of learning words, the best IMO. You can just make yourself questions over and over again till you learn that word. It's brilliant, well done, karma + ;D

Keep in mind you can lay out the cards in a line to make a sentence.
Replace the verb or noun, add a noun, add a clause to make a different sentence.
Mix & match till you are PERFECT !!!!!!
Woo  hoo !!

Someone should totally make one of those "Magnetic Poetry" sets for Na'vi.

OK, the next level is ready.
I have a new, improved set of flashcards finished.
Can't post them here since the files are both too large.
Look in the Gallery > Na'vi Language section, for:
700+ flashcards - color coded...
SORRY, DOUBLE COUNTED THE FRONT & BACK  ::) :'(
There are two entries since I can only attach one file per entry.
One is the pdf file.  If you are not pretty experienced with MS Word and graphics, use this.
The other is the original Word doc.  If you want to add to the list and are pretty good at using Word, use this.
It is the entire current Na'vi-English dictionary, v9.656.
Enjoy
thx

Thank you! At least, flash cards are OS independent ;D

I'll try your layout in OpenOffice. Most MS stuff translates fairly well to OpenOffice.

Good luck with that.
I have done a lot of fairly complicated docs in Word.
Tried in OO - capability just not there.
You may get it to work.
You may need to use something other than aligned 'text boxes'.
Only challenge is getting the text to superimpose on opposite sides of sheet.
Be aware the text is different sizes from card to card.
That can make alignment a nightmare.
Let me know how it goes.
thx

Actually, I am having little trouble at this point. Have added a number of words that are not on the list that are of special interest to me (animal names, mainly). I'm also doing things a little differently, taking advantage of a printer that can duplex. The biggest issue has been that the cards fill to the very edges of the page, and the very bottom text line on some cards is outside of the 'acceptable print range (typically 1/8 inch on all sides of a page) of my printer. I may slightly resize the boxes on a page to see if this can be easily fixed. But in any case, this is the first flash card system, digital or otherwise, that shows a chance of working for me!

As for the warning "outside printable area..." go ahead & click ignore & print one page.
It usually works for me.
