Kaltxì,
I just looked up the meaning of my name and it was 'Laurel' or 'Crowned with laurel'
And I wanted to translate that into Na'vi...

But Laurel is some sort of leaves and because we don't have a word for it already I substituted it with the word for 'branch'. Which is 'vul' So is the plural form of 'vul' 'ayvul' ?

Then I thought: 'That isn't enough!' So I made 'The one with branches' which led me to 'awpo for person and hu for with. So please tell me if it's correct to say 'awpo hu ayvul for 'Laurel'

Well, since you and i have the same root to our names, that makes us like siblings   "Crowned with laurel" is a reference to a ritual signaling accomplishment, victory, etc.--it still survives in the Italian verb laurearsi, which, amongst other things, is used to talk about graduating from university.  So, instead of going for a literal translation of your name, why not try pursuing that concept of "victory," "success," or "accomplishment"?

Well as far as i know the topic marker is for cases when it would be difficult (if not impossible) to tell what's the main thing you're speaking about. (or something like this... many of the experts tell that we should avoid it if we can)

So, since here isn't another thing what would trouble the understanding...
(the topic-marker is really one of the few things i don't really understand... that's the other explanation )

This is my go at it:
oeri ke neu skxawng aìnglìsì layu
I (topic) not want idiot english (adverb) to be

I substituted American by English... Blame me xD

Because ìnglìsì is a noun (english language), so it needs the adject deriver.
I just checked it and in fact it's 'ìnglìsì, so it shlould be le'ìnglìsì...
